Hideout on the Horseshoe is the premiere spot for any couple looking to get married directly on the Guadalupe River. Centered in the Texas Hill Country, our venue has breathtaking views of the Guadalupe River and rolling hills which make for perfect photo ops! Your ceremony will take place riverside with the Guadalupe River as your backdrop and the reception will be held in our outdoor covered pavilion with a cool breeze coming off the river and hills. Nineteen cabins are included as part of our packages so your nearest and dearest can stay on site with you. Moon Shadow Haven on Johnson Creek is a little piece of Paradise in the Texas Hill Country, located just 2 miles off I-10 in Mountain Home, Texas. The property is on 17 acres with 1/3 mile of creek frontage. The venue itself is perched at the top of a bluff overlooking Johnson Creek and the wildlife that visits the creek. The venue embraces the Texas Hill Country vibe and celebrates the property's breathtaking views while also having modern amenities and conveniences. You will have the option of holding a gorgeous creek side wedding or utilizing our charming air conditioned chapel with antique oak pews and an amazing view! We are located in the heart of Texas Hill Country, only three miles from downtown Fredericksburg. Our event spaces are available year-round. We can accommodate anywhere from 50 to 250 guests. All catering is done through our on-site, curated culinary program. Every venue rental includes complimentary tables and chairs. Linens and tableware can be rented for an additional fee. The Hall offers a total of 6000 square feet of indoor and covered outdoor space with connecting lawn and firepit. All your wedding reception needs are covered~ commercial caterer’s kitchen, built-in widescreen television with audio/visual capability, built-in bar, onsite parking, dedicated circuit for bands or DJ. The Bluff, a sprawling lawn overlooking the verdant Hill Country, is a breathtaking site for wedding ceremonies. To make things easier for you and your guests, the location includes a parking lot and electrical outlets. The Barn is a refurbished horse barn with wooden floors, antique beams, string lights, and an expansive covered patio.
