Sugar and Bake relocated to the DFW area in 2019 and officially opened the bakery there in 2020 after the Covid epidemic restrictions allowed. The head baker and owner learned the craft of sugar arts from professional chefs, top sugar artists, and many courses from around the world. He refined his skills by accompanying his father to events and observed the magic that took place behind the lens. Mariano was captivated by his father's profession and followed in his footsteps. He attended the University of North Texas and earned a Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in film production.

From the age of five, I've always had a camera in my hand and a passion for capturing life's little moments. As I grew up I began to develop my skills and dive deep into the photography universe. In high school, I had the opportunity to work for the yearbook, then start my own photography business. I love making you look good and recording those memories you'll cherish! Woodsy Floral started by accident believe it or not. Flowers have always been a part of my husband and I’s marriage. Every Friday or every other Friday my husband, Lonnie would go get fresh stems from the floral shop down the road from our house. With crazy looks he grabbed them. This turned into me making arrangements for our events. When some of our friends saw these floral arrangements, they asked if we could make more for their events. We had one friend that owns a wedding venue, she brought up becoming a vendor for her brides. Well after a little bit of pressuring from Lonnie, we attended her open house as a floral vendor and LOVED IT.
