The Barns of Madison County were built in the 1800’s. We can accommodate up to 120 guests. We have full service catering and coordinating services available. The Barn offers central heat and ac as well as covered patio space. There is a bridal suite and bathrooms on site.

Located just outside of Luray at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountain and Skyline Drive. Stoneyman Valley Ranch is a working cattle ranch with an abundance of open fields and 360 degree views. Our rustic and chandelier barn is air conditioned and heated and is ADA Accessible for your guests. It has a Bride's Room with separate bathroom, Loft for Gentlemen to relax, and other amenities.

Our farm is our family's escape from the hubbub of suburban life. We have all worked together to create what we feel is the ultimate venue for anything from weddings to a corporate retreat. Times are changing and we know farming has changed too. Turning our, still functioning, cattle farm into a venue is how we have managed to keep doing what we know and love with a new opportunity to share the beauty of the land with others. The Home and Farm have been passed down through 8 generations of the Miller family. In 1827, John Miller Sr. purchased the land from Francis Thornton and built a modest family home with his son, “Poplar John”. The simple rectangular structure was built from bricks fired on the bank of the Thornton River and trees harvested from nearby Turkey Mountain. Sixty years later, John Byron made substantial additions including the present-day Owner’s Suite, Queen’s Room, and sitting porches.
