Start with your rehearsal dinner Friday night and wrap up with a clean up party Sunday morning. The wedding party can stay overnight at the lodge, too. Jim and Christy Hutchison built their barn 20 years ago with the help of family and friends. Initially meant for their kids' 4H animals, the barn hosted their children's weddings in 2013 and 2015. Surrounded by stunning mountain views, tall cedars, weeping willows, and prairie fields, The Mason Jar offers a 3-day relaxed environment for weddings. The Hutchisons provide ample time for decorating, rehearsing, and celebrating without rushing, keeping pricing affordable with available decor to help reduce costs. Located on a six-acre property and featuring spacious lawns and other natural outdoor spaces, Thunder Ridge is perfect for events with up to 100 people. Both the beautiful fresh outdoors and climate controlled indoor areas are able to accommodate your guests depending on the PNW weather. Booking the property for your event includes the 1,500 square-foot reception hall and the similarly sized lighted patio and bar area. There is also secure on-site parking with an attendant which can accommodate up to 50 vehicles. The venue also offers a bridal suite with dedicated hair and makeup areas as well as a grooms quarters. You can have an indoor ceremony for lovely reception space within the Mansion's main living room and formal dining room. The second floor offers rooms for your party to prepare on your special day. You can also choose to have your ceremony on the front lawn in front of the grand entrance with side doric columns. For smaller weddings or those on a budget, we offer rental of our adjacent Coach House with maple hardwood floors and built in buffet counter. In 1939 the Works Progress Administration built a timbered A-frame gymnasium of local stone and timbers - the beautiful structure that would later become the Longbranch Clubhouse. When the school district consolidated to a larger site, the Longbranch Improvement Club purchased the land and buildings. In 1956 rest rooms, upgraded kitchen facilities and a wooden floor were added. The Longbranch Clubhouse has held an astonishing variety of activities in its colorful history. High school basketball, wartime bandage rolling, huckleberry festivals, fund-raisers, basket socials, Sunday schools and funerals - along with the popular dances and theater events that formed the foundation of this community's social life for generations.
