The Centers for Culture and History in Orleans makes the historic 1834 Meetinghouse and surrounding facilities available for private functions, celebrations, performances, meetings, and other events. Located in the peaceful, seaside town of Orleans on Cape Cod, and only 2 miles from the famous Nauset Beach our Meetinghouse, Hurd Chapel, and surrounding property offer quiet, convenient and flexible spaces with plenty of level, paved parking. We can accommodate up to 80 people for a wedding ceremony, wedding reception, memorial service, cocktail party, rehearsal dinner and/or other celebrations—with or without food service. Special features have been preserved, including; pressed-tin ceilings, wood wainscoting, stained glass windows, a slate roof, and stunning crystal chandeliers. The lower, Geiger Hall, has a restored stage with full sound and lighting system, perfect for your band or DJ. The Hall is equipped with a commercial kitchen, elevator, six bathrooms and lobby spaces. The building is fully air-conditioned and handicapped accessible.
