Built in 1927, for Eastman Kodak Corporation, the venue boasts multiple levels, loads of original architecture, and dazzling details throughout. Mad Art Gallery is housed in the former Third District Police Station, a wonderfully renovated example of 1930s Art Deco architecture nested in the historic neighborhood of Soulard. The gallery is an award winning venue boats 17,000 square feet of terrazzo floors and marble hallways. The former squad car garage is now a stunning 3,800 sq feet gallery space equipped with state of the art lighting. Everything that made this space a working police station still lives at Mad Art. The bronze sergeant's desk now serves as a bar, and the jail cells are not only conversation pieces but conversation places! Edwards Place, built in 1833, was a social center of antebellum Springfield. In its gracious parlors Abraham Lincoln, Stephen Douglas, Ulysses S. Grant, and other Illinois luminaries gathered at elegant parties and balls. You, too, can have your special day in the same rooms where Abraham and Mary Lincoln were guests more than 150 years ago, now meticulously restored to the grandeur of their antebellum days. Edwards Place is available to rent for showers, weddings, and receptions – the perfect choice for a distinctive event in a historically significant setting. You can even include extra services for your event, such as the use of a piano often heard by Abraham Lincoln (and possibly played at his wedding!). For smaller receptions of 40 – 70, private dining or a cocktail hour is a popular option before heading to Upstairs or Boundary.

The Noble is a historic wedding venue located in South St. Louis, MO. A former bank, the art deco space boasts elegant detailing and some of the building’s original features. This local landmark highlights beauty and nostalgia, offering couples a one-of-a-kind location to celebrate their love. The South Side National Bank was an impressive structure and featured regal detailing of eagles and inscriptions on its facade. Inside, you can hold your wedding under the soaring vaulted ceilings among vintage bank furnishings and accessories. The vault has been renovated and serves as an additional area that you can personalize for your event. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light while antique light fixtures illuminate the room at night.
