In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved Hope Glen, my wife said it was way above and beyond what she had hope and dreamed for her wedding and all of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was! All the beautiful and differently decorated spaces were very functional and made our wedding flow effortlessly. We felt so blessed getting married in a super rain storm in the beautiful dinner hall. We also loved the tree house, it was such a magical place to spend our first night together. We loved the ambient worship music, we were worshipping together all night until we fell asleep. It was super special. Also Eryka was incredible. The bridal bliss package was absolutely worth every penny. I don't know how we could have got all that done on our own without her help, especially being out of state. We also highly recommend the horse carriage. The audible gasp of all our gusts was intoxicating as my beautiful bride arrived by horse carriage looking like a storybook princess.
