Heuss Creation is a Licensed home bakery located in Hamlin Iowa. Heuss Creations specializes in custom wedding cake designs to meet the needs of the Bride and Groom. Specialties include rolled fondant and buttercream cakes, as well as unique groom’s cakes, delicious desserts, gift baskets, and even cupcakes!

I got my start many years ago when I was living back home in Chicago, at a cute little bakery, that I still visit to this day! I went back and forth between working in graphic design to cooking and baking. I started working in the bakery at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center as a part-time line cook in 2013 and in 2015 a became their in-house cake designer. In 2019 I decided to leave my position at the hotel and opened Sugar Flower Cake Design. I love seeing the joy when my clients cut into their cake and take their first bite - it makes life much sweeter! - Jennifer Smith
