I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Milkweed Moments

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,600
  • Serves Deadwood, SD

Homeschoolin, Home birthin, and Holistic mama that loves to capture Life and Love in it's truest moments and forms. My business has been a decade in the making from falling in love with photography in high school, to now... My love for Milkweed and my time spent living in Iowa has inspired my business name. I used to live near a conservation center with fields of milkweed. My children and I spent many days enjoying this haven of beauty and were blessed to see thousands of Monarch butterflies migrate to the Milkweed. I realize how fleeting these moments are and would love to capture your story!

Working with milkweed moments is a breeze! I was nervous because I have a 3 and 1 year old, and wasn’t sure how they would cooperate. Aubriana made everything go smoothly. She’s great with kids, great with directives on posing, and really made the day so fun! She got all the shots I dreamed of!”. Will be booking her again in the future!

Ayla Rae Weddings

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $8,000
  • Serves Deadwood, SD for additional fees

A POET WITH A CAMERA IN HER HAND: I’m Ayla — pronounced “eye-luh”, like “I love you” — and I never quite grew out of seeing things the way I did as a kid: heart first, bright eyed, curious about everything and particularly drawn to movement and pretty light. My travels, my writing (certified art school kid), and my big family have brought me from that inquisitive, emotional child to the woman I am today: knee deep in wonder & riverbeds, usually mid-laugh, and so full of gratitude for my life I can hardly contain it to language.

Awarded Best of Zola
There are simply just not enough words to describe how amazing and special it was to have Ayla as our photographer. We had a small, intimate wedding in Winter Park, Colorado and we truly could not have asked for a more thoughtful, talented, and kind person to capture our day. From the first time we spoke, Ayla has been so helpful and knowledgable, she helped guide us through the entire wedding process and helped make our planning experience truly stress-free. She took the time to scout ceremony locations for us, gave us a list of the most beautiful spots to check out during our trip (our guests couldn't stop talking about them), created timelines for us, gave us an extensive wedding guide that I looked at probably 100 times, and helped us with so much more. There was a storm that rolled in last minute on our wedding day and, morning-of, Ayla helped us replan our entire day to work out in the best way with the rain and it ended up being better than we could have ever imagined. Even with a super short notice that the wedding was moved up two hours, Ayla still found time to hunt down two clear umbrellas for us and picked up on the way to our location. She took immediate action and it felt like every concern was resolved before we could even begin to get stressed about them. We were able to focus on just enjoying the day and she really helped us embrace and find the excitement & beauty in a rainy wedding day. To this day, we still have our friends & family telling us how amazing Ayla was and how lucky we were to find her, and we couldn’t agree more. She made everyone feel so comfortable, both hanging with her and in front of the camera. She felt like a close friend celebrating with us more than a hired photographer. Most of our guests don’t like to be photographed, but because Ayla made everyone feel so natural, she was able to capture some really special & beautiful moments that we will cherish forever. All of our photos are a dream, she captured our day in such a special way and they’re better than we could have EVER imagined. Every tiny, intimate moment was caught so beautifully, looking at them makes us feel like we are right back in that moment. We are so so grateful and lucky that we found her, Ayla is such a special talent and was the very best addition to our big day, we can not recommend her enough!!

Sam Lauersdorf Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Deadwood, SD for additional fees

Capturing weddings since 2017, Sam is passionate about creating images that showcase the real you. Your wedding is an incredibly important event & you deserve to work with vendors you not only get along with, but trust completely & enjoy spending time with!

I first met Sam when she was doing Videography at a wedding, that for lack of better words, was chaotic at best. She was the easiest person to communicate with, friendly, kind, and considerate. She made my job as DJ/MC a lot easier. Since that wedding I have ran into her on many occasions and have formed a great respect for the quality of her service. I highly recommend.

Silvia Gilbert Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Deadwood, SD for additional fees

I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

I’ve worked several weddings with Silvia and she has been nothing short of amazing! Nothing thrown at her would take the smile away! Nothing is a big deal and everything has a solution!

I love everything about photography - meeting new people, capturing raw emotions, being a part of special moments, giving images a crisp, timeless feel, and delivering memories that will be treasured forever. Each part is so, so special to me! Outside of photography, I love cheering on Husker football, traveling to new places, cuddling my cats, baking cookies, & decorating for holidays!

We contacted Laura right after our engagement to get information about her pricing. She was very quick to send us information and included everything we would need for the engagement pictures to the wedding. Our engagement picture day, Laura made sure we had fun and knew the exact spots to get the perfect picture. She was professional, but spunky and fun. On our wedding day, Laura took the pictures and Shayne was the videographer. They work absolutely flawless together and never missed a beat. If Laura was not able to be somewhere, Shayne was there with the video camera and pictures were taken from the video to add to our special day. They were both very accommodating to all of our changes/needs and went with the flow of the day to help eliminate any additional stress. We love our pictures and our video from our special day and are so thankful we were able to find Laura Elizabeth Photography to help us relive those moments.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

Jessica is a joy to have a part of any wedding! Her work is beautiful and she captures the love and emotions of her couples' biggest day. From the beginning of the planning process, until the photos arrive in your inbox, she always puts the couples' needs and wants as her priority. Her organization, professionalism, and calming composure are exactly what couples need out of their photographer!

Hello, and congratulations on your engagement! My name is Kasey Curry, and I am the owner and lead photographer of Kasey Curry Photography. I am a traveling photographer based out of Omaha, NE, specializing in engagements, weddings, & boudoir. I do my best to get on Zola as often as possible, but the best ways to contact me are through email and my website.

Kasey is a fun, bubbly, kind personality and that really pours over into her work. I had an intimate photo session done by her so I won’t be sharing any of them on here, but they were all fantastic, it was the perfect gift to give my husband. The quality of photos she created for me was absolutely stunning. She is easygoing and such a joy to work with! Hiring her would be an incredible choice.
