This space is ideal for you if you crave a carefree, easy-going atmosphere where butterflies and birds plan to join you during your ceremony. Quite literally, the sights and sounds of nature envelop you and your guests as you are under a canopy of oak and maple trees. Situated on 32 acres of forests, including a mile of nature trails and wildflower fields, this unique venue exceeds the dreams of the most creative couples looking to throw a party their guests have never experienced. We, the owners Al and Lyndsey, are both retired wedding photographers who understood the mission, create something we never experienced while shooting over 450 weddings.

Surrounded by fields and forests, the Braham Event Center is a modern banquet hall with rustic decor on the outside and a modern, open floor plan on the inside. Our main feature is our large window with a view to beautiful birch trees, perfect for ceremonies in addition to receptions. The center can host parties of up to 400 people, with a large lobby and a library which serves as the bridal suite. Our on-site caterer, Kathy’s Kitchen, provides delicious and affordable meals. Kathy's Kitchen specializes in cooking from scratch and we enjoy the chance to customize to fit a price point or a favorite meal or side dish. The Braham Event Center is located one hour north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, just off Highway 65 on the outskirts of Braham, Minnesota, minutes away from Pine City, Rush City, Mora, and Cambridge, and is conveniently located between Duluth and the Twin Cities.

Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. The courtyard includes a Pavillion, bonfire pit, lawn games, and a walking trail through the woods

In 1900, Frank D. Stout inherited part of his father’s lumber fortune, moved to Chicago, and within a few years was one of the wealthiest men in the country. Stout's was built in 1903 by Frank D. Stout as a summer retreat for his family and modeled after the famous Adirondack camps. Over the past 25 years, new cabins have been erected and we now have a total of 43 guest rooms on the Island. Imagine a ceremony on the South Lawn with panoramic views of Red Cedar Lake or a tranquil gathering in the former Stout Family master bedroom with a wood-burning fireplace.
