Found in the heart of Western Massachusetts, the Log Cabin is easily accessible from major East Coast cities. As well as featuring a beautiful outdoor ceremony site, The Log Cabin features two ballrooms that can accommodate up to 400 guests. For a full outdoor experience, weddings can also be held at the open-air Upper Vista reception tent. Our location comes with a dedicated team of wedding professionals including planners, who are committed to delivering impeccable service to every wedding. Combined with the amenities of sister properties, the D Hotel and the Delaney House will offer a full wedding weekend experience. The D Hotel is a boutique hotel that has 61 hotel rooms. Our ancestors settled here in 1635 from Heavitree, England, hence the name. We are one of the few longest-living farms to continue in the founder’s name “Geer.” The Heavitree is an original 18th-century building saved and moved to its current location, a 140+ acre farm started by our ancestors in 1700. The original structure was a tavern in Rhode Island, saved from destruction by Charlotte Geer to complement her family’s historic farmland. With twelve rooms, including four sleeping chambers, modern amenities, and unique 18th-century rooms, the 4,780 sq. ft. farmhouse offers a historic experience.
