Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is a 134-acre nature preserve, botanical garden, and accredited museum. Today, the preserve contains over 700 of the 2,000 plant species native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley, growing in a naturalistic setting of woodlands, meadows, ponds and Pidcock Creek, with about 4.5 miles of walking trails. It is an excellent site for bird-watching. The preserve was established in 1934 within the Washington Crossing Historic Park at the site where George Washington‘s army camped during the American Revolutionary War. Just five miles south of the preserve, Washington and his men crossed the Delaware River to fight and win the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

The Pasture boasts unlimited possibilities, where you can experience amazing views of animals grazing in nearby fields and organic vegetables growing in our 2 acre vegetable field. The Barn is an old working dairy barn that has been transformed into a beautiful, rustic event space with turn of the century charm. The barn boasts idyllic 24 foot cathedral ceilings with romantic lighting, the perfect setting for a magical night of dancing. We have a lovely ceremonial area above the pastures in our old growth apple orchard that overlooks the surrounding Appalachian Mountains.

Pocono Palms is a wedding and event venue located in Canadensis, PA, owned by two sisters. A former church, originally built in 1912, Pocono Palms is currently nearing the end of extensive renovations that began in the summer of 2019. Pocono Palms combines the rustic charm of the Pocono Mountains with lush greenery and modern lines, to create a memorable and unique oasis for couples looking for something different. The venue features a large outdoor garden, ceremony site and altar, and cocktail area. The indoor reception area is known for its stunning archways, lush greenery, black and white dance floor, and custom-built tables.
