The Mattatuck Museum provides a fun and unique space for your wedding or celebration. With our rooftop terrace, spacious banquet hall and beautiful galleries, we provide a special and different experience for the celebrants and guests alike.

Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

Built in 1776, the Nathan Hale Homestead is a National Historic Landmark and the birthplace of Connecticut’s State Hero, Nathan Hale. The property features an 18th-century English Barn with rare gunstock timber framing, a charming 19th-century Dairy Barn, and open pastures surrounded by stone walls and forest. This beautiful home offers a quintessentially New England backdrop for your wedding day or other event.

This national historic site was built in 1896. All the original details have been preserved. The House can accommodate seated events of up to 200 guests, or a small, relaxed brunch in the gardens. White wainscoting adorns the rooms throughout the mansion, while floral wallpaper and neutral colored walls create a traditional look.
