Our beautiful barn venue is what we refer to as Rustic Elegance. The barn can transform into an elegant space or tone it down for a warm and inviting more rustic vibe. We have a beautiful outdoor area to get married surrounded by trees of all kinds and a large heated and cooled barn (4500 sq ft) for an indoor reception. We can also host the wedding indoors if the couple prefers. Enchanted Acres also has two 600 sq ft cabins to get ready in, one for the bride, and one for the groom. We are located on almost 20 acres of seclusion but yet close to town for guests to stay or a VRBO at the lake.

Chateau Amelia, located in Upstate SC, is a magnificent gem ready to host events of up to 100 guests. The Victorian-era historic home is a meticulously kept mini mansion with an extensive wrap-around porch, while our events barn is a thoughtfully designed events hall all set on 4 acres of gardens. Behind the events barn you will find a cocktail patio with cafe lights and cocktail tables under the canopy of the romantic forest. Follow the pathway from the patio to the wooded backdrop ceremony site equipped with a ceremony arch. We were lead to an aging, almost forgotten piece of our past. The old Cotton Depot in Clinton SC quietly sat on the edge of downtown. The building spoke to us, 17,000 square feet of handmade brick each telling a story, 11ft ceilings with exposed beams, arched windows and wide planked floors. We immediately began designing the space. Through our catering experience we knew the need for easy access, a good flow and having conveniently located facilities. We also knew the importance of having multifunctioning spaces that can be dressed up or down to make each event uniquely yours. The Hartley House (also known as the Bond-Bates-Hartley House) located in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina was built circa 1790 for John Pearson Bond. The house later came into possession of John Bates, husband of John Pearson Bond’s great niece and a member of the family that the town of Batesburg was named for. There are many local legends surrounding this house and it’s friendly visitors. According to local tradition, the Bond-Bates-Hartley House served as a stagecoach stop and post office, prior to the founding of the town of Batesburg. Architecturally the house is a typical upcountry farmhouse, with a portico adapted from the Greek Revival style.

The Oaks Wedding Venue, situated on over 200+ acres in Anderson, South Carolina, is quickly becoming a favorite of couples, families and their guests as the idyllic spot for their wedding day. In considering Oak Terrace, The Veranda, White Oak Grove or Oak Pier, you have several ideal settings for the perfect outdoor Ceremony. If you prefer the Luxury of the 5000 sq foot Grand Oak Hall, you enter the from The Portico through the 10-foot, double doors carved of French Oak from the 18th century. Your seating arrangements are endless as you consider which feature creates the backdrop for you to say your vows. The hand carved, limestone fireplace adds warmth while the massive white pine beams soar overhead suspending antique wrought iron & crystal chandeliers. Enjoy the view of Lake with wrap-around windows & doors as the 30-foot glass wall is drawn open to the Veranda, offering an indoor-outdoor space. The event space includes a 6,000-square-foot Reception Hall, a 3,000-square-foot Ceremony Space with Grooms Quarters attached, and an 800-square-foot building dedicated as a Bridal Suite. It has two beautifully landscaped garden spaces that can be used for cocktail hour or ceremony spaces. The entire facility has a brick and rod iron privacy fence surrounding the property. The venue includes three historic buildings connected by beautiful cobblestone walkways, lush landscape, landscape lighting as well as cafe lights. The walk from each unique building is just as beautiful as the buildings themselves.

In 1874, Father Theodore Butler purchased a home and a lot in Augusta, Georgia, for $10,000.00 to construct a building to be used as a church for the Catholic population and a school for children of all denominations. A simple Victorian structure served as a temporary facility for the church until work could begin on a larger, more significant building for the group. The first bricks were laid for Sacred Heart Church in 1897 and the church opened with the first service on December 2, 1900. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building features towering twin spires, graceful arches, fifteen distinctive styles of brickwork, ninety-four stained glass windows, a barreled vaulted ceiling, and intricately carved Italian marble altars. Unfortunately, due to a number of factors, the last mass was held in Sacred Heart on July 3, 1971.
