The wedding was great and as a wedding planner, I enjoyed working with this team. From the start, they care for the client with respect and class. Especially loved working with Scott. He has the best personality and is so fun! We did have a staff change which somewhat caused a communication issue, but they quickly bounced back and made sure everything was correct and updated. As a wedding planner, I would certainly do another wedding here! The staff, food and facility are top notch!

This is a one of a kind location in the high desert, surrounded on three sides by the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. We are located about an hour outside of San Diego but it feels like a world away. The property has a motel with 10 rooms, 300 RV sites with full hooks-ups, multiple tiny homes and trailers for rent, and ample tent camping sites. Tables & chairs are not included.  *Ole Firehouse -- The Firehouse is a newly renovated former fire station with a 40' x 60' event room, the perfect space for both weddings and receptions. Amenities include: the venue room, a full kitchen, two restrooms, an outdoor patio area, a large, shaded deck, and an upstairs bridal dressing room/loft space. It has a 80-person indoor capacity with the Firehouse bay doors closed & a 100-person capacity when they are open. From the beginning, we instantly fell in love with the venue and location. As we drove up to the venue for the tour, we began envisioning our wedding and knew this is where we wanted to get married. Lake Cuyamaca has a special place in our hearts and we were so excited to be able to share it’s beauty with our guest. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the lake! Additionally, the weekend of our wedding, we stayed at the Lakeview cabins at Lake Cuyamaca. The stay was very pleasant and convenient. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains was breathtaking. The staff was very helpful and responsive! As the months turned into weeks, they were checking in with us to make sure we had all things accounted for. It’s only 3 months out from our wedding and we’re already hosting another event!

Let me start off by saying, I was a girl who never cared to get married, until I found Sacred Mountain Julian. I knew immediately from their photos, I needed to book my wedding there. Right when they announced their 2023 reservations were open, I immediately booked a walk through and basically booked my fall wedding. First off, the Sunset Plateau is so amazing and breathtaking to say your vows. I specifically told my photographer that I wanted to take as many photos possible on the property. Every area offers photos ops of your liking. The team there is amazing to work with. I recommend visiting the property to see the beauty for yourself.

Oakwood Creek was built in the 1930s by WW Wood and his wife Leanora. Wood drove a truck that hauled dairy milk from the outlying ranches into the town of Julian. Later on, Wood would operate B&L Liquor on the main street. The remains of W's garage are still very apparent on the property today, along with his goat shed & stables. We have one of the last intact water towers in the historic district. The property has been preserved to reflect the period in which it was built. This beautiful venue sits atop a picturesque knoll overlooking the historic town of Julian. Sherry Horton, owner of Oakwood Creek Celebrations, offers signature style that everyone—no matter their affair—will find "oh so easy". Growing up in rural Ohio, Sherry brings the style of country that is reminiscent of simpler gracious time, learning from her grandmother Emma Barrett of all things romantically beautiful. The Oakwood Creek Celebrations staff were a joy to work with! I am so grateful that the staff customized a great package for our wedding day, with very short notice. Our Officiant Rev Hannah Wilder, performed a beautiful ceremony by the koi pond. The location is gorgeous, and the staff made us feel as if we were family. Every detail of our wedding was beautifully done, making the entire experience amazing and completely stress free. A million thanks to our wedding coordinator Sherry, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and even took photos for us, since we didn't have a photographer. Our wedding was better than anything I dreamed of!

Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center is the best kept secret and absolute jewel of a location for an event. I had my wedding here and you have access to the whole building, terrace, movie theater and amphitheater. It was a JOY working with Janet (operations manager). Perfect venue for amazing views and unique setting great for nature lovers. Maybe the best part is that what you pay to rent the facility goes to the MTRP Foundation to support the park- it's like making a donation! We loved that so much. Thank you for a beautiful venue for our wedding- it was a SUPERB experience from start to finish!

I can't say enough good things about Rancho Guejito! We just got married there this month, and it was truly the wedding of our dreams. The venue is absolutely stunning—our guests couldn’t stop raving about the breathtaking mountain views and greenery. The two ceremony sites and cocktail area offer incredible backdrops for photos with the gorgeous mountain landscape. The reception space was exactly what we envisioned for our day, with the string lights and vineyards all around it made for a magical evening. The bridal and groom suites were perfect, the bridal suite had multiple vanity stations and lots of natural light and mirrors which made it perfect for getting ready, and the groom’s suite was the perfect party room pre-ceremony for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. What really made everything come together was Nicole. She’s an absolute angel—so thoughtful and dedicated. Nicole and her team truly care about making your special day perfect!
