“Door County holds such a special place in my husband and I’s hearts and from the day we got engaged we knew we wanted to get married at the Northern Haus. From the first initial tour to our wedding day we fell more and more in love with the venue and the people. Sara and Megan went above and beyond to make sure that our day was absolutely perfect for us and helped us through every step of the wedding planning process. Hiring them as our day of coordinators was one of the best decisions we made, helping take so much stress of my husband and I’s plates, from set up the day of to constantly checking in on both of us to make sure we didn’t need anything throughout the busy day. Our family and friends were simply in awe of the ceremony location and reception space, every aspect of the venue is stunning and we will never regret choosing to get married at the Northern Haus. Northern Haus provides the most perfect backdrop for the most beautiful photos. Nick was incredible behind the bar and all of our guests raved about him and the fast bar service. The professionalism, level of expertise and attention to detail at the Northern Haus is unmatched. Every aspect of our day was simply perfect and we can’t thank Sara, Megan and Nick enough for all their hard work that went into our special day. We can’t wait to come back to visit year after year”

It is located directly across from Lake Michigan and sits on 15 acres of land with natural beauty and lush gardens. The Grain Loft is a large open space with floor-to-ceiling windows, remodeled bathrooms and views of the garden. It has exposed ductwork, barn wood beams, soaring ceiling heights and cement floors. The main building also features an outdoor patio, beautiful bar, and kitchen. The second floor serves as additional seating/entertaining area and a private suite. “The Grain Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff, shout out especially to Cher, were fantastic. Communication was always clear, organized, and timely, which kept everything running smoothly. Cher monitored the weather and found the ideal window for our outdoor ceremony between rain showers, which was very appreciated as an outdoor wedding was what we really wanted, but there was a backup indoor plan if needed. We received so many compliments from guests on the venue and how well the staff adapted to work around the rain. The Grain Loft has a gorgeous charm on its own, but it can be personalized very easily. Despite less than ideal weather, the venue shined and we couldn't have asked for a better backdrop to celebrate with friends and family. We'd highly recommend The Grain Loft!”
