We have a lovely converted barn reception site which boasts a perfect warming kitchen and prep area for your caterers. The property at Hidden Pastures Farm covers almost 300 acres of pristine private mountaintop real estate. The views overlooking Ashe County and beyond are some of the best you will ever see.

Weddings With a Spectacular View! Sky Retreat is a gorgeous 30-acre, all seasons wedding venue. With an over 6,500sq. ft. Grand Event Hall boasting a wall of windows showcasing the long-range view, expansive covered veranda with fireplace, dressing suite, professional dance floor, catering kitchen, 14 log cabins for lodging, an infinity view paver pad and a large grassy knoll, both ideal for outdoor weddings. Sky Retreat provides a picturesque environment to create cherished memories. Our wedding venue is unique because the ceremony, reception, and lodging overlook the beautiful Roaring River. You are just a few feet from the river at all times. As you pass the door, the vineyards unfold before you – the view is reminiscent of a French hillside vineyard. We have one of the most scenic sites for your event, with 1.5 miles of riverbanks along the Roaring River. Few sites have an actual river, perhaps a creek, but this is the east prong of the Roaring River that flows down from Stone Mountain.
