Legacy Event Center is like no other. From the shining Baby Grand piano inside the foyer to the LED lit outdoor seating on the deck, you know this venue is special. This newly renovated and now owner operated venue has basic rentals available for any kind of event. This venue is certified ADA compliant and easy for handicap and elderly to entertain in. A combination of historic, intimate, and sophistication, it's a great venue that can host small, medium, and large size events.

The Kemp (1300 Lamar Street) was built in 1917 at the request of Flora Kemp who, when asked by her husband Joseph what she would like for her birthday, suggested a public library. The library opened its doors in 1918 with a donation of 4000 books provided by the community. In 1998, the City of Wichita Falls leased the then-defunct historic building to the Arts Council, which began an extensive renovation project to restore the building. The result was The Kemp Center for the Arts, which opened it’s doors in 2002.

Located at 2120 Speedway Avenue, The Forum is a truly elegant building that was built in the 1920’s with Mediterranean influences and the iconic front arches. It has over 11,000 square feet of event space and 6 distinct and interconnecting room options, as well as front and back outdoor courtyard spaces. You can have a private ceremony with only a few guests or a reception of up to 500, our spaces can be tailored to your day and we provide several pricing options that can be customized. Thanks to our recently renovated and upgraded partition walls there is endless versatility for you to make it your own. The Forum can give you the perfect bride and groom suite’s as well as ceremony and reception space all in our location.

The Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University enriches life in our community and the university through new experiences in visual art for all ages.
