The Venue on Main is a beautiful timeless space well suited for a wide variety of events - Weddings, Receptions, Ceremonies, Birthday Parties, Live Entertainment w/ Dancing, Special Occasion Luncheon/Dinners, Corporate Events, Meetings, Community Events etc... Our historical downtown event ballroom resides in Denison, Texas with a capacity of 90 people. The main Ballroom has beautiful wood floors, original tin ceiling and columns. Over 2000 sq feet it is a lovely place for any type of event. Most of our wedding are take advantage of our sensational package - only $1000.00 for three days - from Friday at 9am to Sunday at 3pm. We offer the best value pricing but don't mistake that for a budget or low quality. We are proud to be able to provide a beautiful venue for small events.

We have two sets of men’s and women’s restrooms, one set at each end of the building. We also have a fully handicap accessible restroom. We have on site lodging as well as a smaller venue for your rehearsal dinner.

Several years ago we had purchased some property with a run-down old barn on it. As we restored the old barn we had several people ask if they could rent it for their upcoming wedding. The barn had no bathrooms, no parking, and a dirt floor - so we graciously declined but the seed had been planted. We love building + design, we’re dreamers at heart, and we genuinely love people and their stories. After leaving our daily jobs in ministry we ventured out to find the perfect 20 acres to build our dream on. Built from the ground up, designed with you and your families in mind, and always with the thought in the back of our minds, “We want to be more than just a wedding venue.”

Welcome to the Station featuring a rustic farmhouse feel with reclaimed shiplap walls and industrial concrete floors. Our tasteful antique accents are incorporated into the modest decor, making the space beautiful as it is, or easily elevated to more lavish events. Guest of The Station have full use of the foyer, bar, bridal and groom suites, large gathering room, inclusive farmhouse tables, additional seating and tables, bathrooms, sound system, and kitchen! In addition to these amenities, our guests frequently appreciate the functionality of our large rolling door that opens up onto the urban sidewalk of Downtown McKinney. Also appreciated by Station patrons is our open vendor policy, we encourage clients to seek out local resources to fulfill needs like catering, florist and other event-related resources. We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney. Built in1900 and established in 1970. We have 54 years of service! We have the Art-O-Mat which is a vintage machine repurposed for collectible art hence the Art-O-Mat! People travel all over the world and to McKinney to add to their art collections! The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more!
