My best friend Rose was planning her wedding and asked if I would arrange the flowers. I absolutely loved being creative and being part of her special day. The next week I enrolled in Flower School and after I finished my studies I started The Gathering florist and haven’t looked back!

Hana Lim began her floral design career almost a decade ago, specializing in weddings, corporate events and editorial shoots. After graduating with a degree in interior design in Korea and a received intensive floral design training in England, Ms. Lim followed her passion for floral design and styling and relocated to New York City. I started my career in 2002 as a floral designer after studying European design and Ikebana Misho-ryu at one of he best floral design college in Japan.
