My name is Nick and I am a photographer, videographer, and the creator of Life in Focus. I specialize in wedding videography in southern Maine, Boston, and New Hampshire, as well as all over the world. I love to tell your story in the most beautiful way.

I have been in business since 2013 filming weddings and know how to get the best shots. I prepare for the unexpected and know how to adapt to changing environments or situations (it's a wedding, not everything always goes as plans but I know just how to handle anything that comes my way due to my many years of experience). My goal is not to just capture your wedding day but to tell your story. Each couple is unique and I try to always pay attention to that when piecing together your film.

    As a New Jersey Bride having planned a Maine destination wedding, I consider myself so blessed to have found Nick with Life In Focus to capture our most magical day in Bar Harbor Maine! He graciously joined us before event time to venture into Acadia NP with the photographer to grab some nature shots. Time was limited and he guided us to the most beautiful close-by spots. From first looks to ceremony to dinner toasts and special dances, he got it all, including the most spectacular aerial drone footage of the grounds! It was an absolute blast working with Nick and the final product, our complete wedding video, turned out to be the most treasured piece of our special day! The event was wonderful, but once it's over and the day has past, we are left with memories, which with age, sometimes fade. To have our wedding day, "Our Maine Event", set in motion on demand with just a click to bring us back and to treasure always is a precious gift. Thank you Nick! We are forever grateful to you for your professional and creative work!

    We are so lucky to have gotten Life in Focus for our wedding, and couldn't be happier with our experience. One week before our wedding, our planner let us know that a videographer she'd worked with (Nick) happened to have an opening for our wedding date the upcoming weekend. We hadn't initially budgeted for video, but it felt like fate, so we reached out and quickly connected with Nick. His style was similar to what we'd wanted -- cinematic, authentic, not overly edited. He was laidback and friendly and flexible, and we decided to take a chance. We are SO SO glad we did! Our wedding was on Chebeague Island, Maine -- which is only reachable by boat. Nick and his team worked with us and came earlier than they needed to, capturing amazing drone footage and importantly, footage of our first look, even though we initially said that they didn't need to arrive in time for it. Nick is not only generous with his time, but also brings such clear attention to detail and thoughtfulness to his craft. When we got our video, we were struck by the way he captured not only us as a couple, but our guests––precious moments that we wouldn't have otherwise seen, including intentional shots of our grandparents, who we know won't be with us forever. It's wild to imagine that we weren't going to have a videographer document our wedding -- because we can't imagine NOT having Nick and his team part of our special day! We are so glad to have worked with Life in Focus, and know we'll treasure the footage he so carefully captured for decades to come.

    My team shot a wedding for Life in Focus this past October down in Corolla, NC, and it was a great experience overall. The owner, Nick, and I had plenty of communication beforehand to sort out all of the details, and everything went smoothly even though it was a shorter coverage period than I’m used to. The Airbnb wifi was not strong enough to transfer the large amount of data from the wedding, but this didn’t bother Nick at all, he said it was perfectly fine if we waited until we were back home to upload his footage. Every aspect was very professional, and the videos came out looking great. It was a great experience, we hope that we have the opportunity to work with Nick’s company again in the future.
