Hey there! Katie here. I'm a scenic artist for theater by day and a videographer by night(s and weekends)! Keepsakes by Katie originally started as a nameless passion project to film a home-movie-style cross-country road trip with friends back in 2017. I found myself most interested in filming my friends as they were, and that's the same approach I've taken to my wedding films - candid storytelling, capturing real moments of your day in real time.

I want your film to feel like you. As a career storyteller, I pride myself in my ability to act like a fly on the wall and catch all those precious moments you might miss while caught up in your big day - Grandma winking from across the room, your bridal party's teary eyes as you slip into your dress, or cousin Jimmy doing the worm for 3 seconds on the dance floor. I'm here to catch it all and weave it into the story of you to look back on year after year.

    Katie was a total dream to work with as the videographer for our wedding! Starting from our first conversations, she was a lovely collaborator, asking great questions, getting the sense of what we wanted stylistically for our video, and always approaching with compassion and care. We love the final film SO MUCH, as well as the highlight reel!! We watched the film back on our anniversary and felt transported back to that day—she beautifully captured the ceremony, speeches, details of the day, and moments with guests we’d have otherwise missed. We will cherish Katie’s work forever!! Highly recommend working with Katie to capture the magic of the day!

    The moments of our wedding were captured so well by Katie. Her attention to the small details and the story telling through her videos allowed us to collect moments of our wedding that we as the bride and groom weren’t able to see or be apart of.     We can’t thank Katie enough! We heard about Katie’s services through a friend and are so thankful that we did! We were unsure if we could afford a videographer but Katie’s prices and packages were so affordable! I can’t express how much our videos mean to us. Not only are the videos high quality, but Katie delivered them to us so quickly! Katie was so down to earth that when we met for the first time (on our wedding day!), I felt like I had known her for years! It was so great to have her there celebrating with us and capturing our day! Katie gave us SO much footage from our day and we are so thankful to have it to look back on.     We were absolutely blown away with our wedding videos from Katie! We were not exactly sure what we wanted when we began the process, but Katie worked with us to find the perfect style/vision and delivered videos more amazing than our wildest dreams! Her ability to perfectly capture not only all the "important" more scripted moments like first look, walking down the aisle, first dances etc but also the genuine, heartfelt, candid moments in every part of the day is truly incredible. She was a joy to have with us from the bridal suite, to the first look, ceremony and on the dance floor capturing all the reception fun! My husband and I watch the videos back CONSTANTLY, her video composition is unmatched at encapsulating the vibe of the entire day exactly how it felt- laughing in the goofy/fun moments, tears during the ceremony and all around joy of the day we can feel again every time we watch them. We truly could not have asked for anything better, our wedding videos are definitely our most cherished keepsake from the weekend!!
