Unprofessional and Lack of Communication

We were so excited when we found the venue because the space was beautiful and we knew the food was good, but that quickly changed. We put our deposit down 1.5 years before the wedding and in that time we went through 5 different wedding coordinators and they never let us know. We only found out because our emails would come back "undelivered" and then it was like pulling teeth to find out who our new contact was. Then the venue changed their wedding packages completely and were trying to charge us more money and move us into the new package when we already had a contract at the old price and package. No one would sit us down and answer our questions and go over all the details of what we were actually getting. We were so overwhelmed with planning and they would not help us, which when we paid the deposit and signed the contract they informed us they were very hands on and would help as much as we needed. They didn't even have anyone on location to assist with the rehearsal day before. We didn't even have a menu until like 2-3 months before hand. We were very disappointed with the bar. We were told and under the impression when we paid deposit and signed contract that it was an open bar, but that also was not the case. We found out like one month in advance that it was actually a very limited bar and our options were very underwhelming for the price we were paying. We couldn't even do our specialty cocktails that we had planned. Overall our wedding day was perfect, but the venue I do not recommend.
