About this venue
We are a beautiful historical theater with the original charm and features. Our space is naturally beautiful with exposed brick detail. It is versatile so your imagination can paint the perfect experience for you. It is also important for us to be flexible as we are a small family owned venue. We are here to walk you through every step of the process from navigating vendors to your layout of the space. We look forward to working with you!

Main room
Historic Theater turned to beautiful venue with original character and charm.
Our space includes access to our foyer, beautiful hallway leading into our main room. There is also a prep kitchen on the main floor. Upstairs there is a balcony area perfect for pictures, cocktails or additional seating.

There is a built-in bar that perfectly overlooks the main room. There is an antique furniture to capture the perfect picture.

Included in your rental would be use of the building, access to our prep kitchen (refrigerator, sink, 2 stainless steel tables), home theater sound system (bluetooth capabilities). Tables will be set up however you like prior to your rental time. We have 11 round tables that seat eight comfortably and up 10, 100 black chairs, 8 6-ft long rectangular table, one 5 ft, one 4 ft. The capacity of the building is 158 seated. The additional seating would need to be brought in during your rental time.

Beautiful Historic Venue
We had our wedding on January 21, 2023. We were blessed to have our reception at The Venue at the Star Theater in Toccoa, GA. As a renovated historic theater, The Star offers classic vibes with romantic feels as you dance under the string lights. Areas offered are main floor for seating and dancing, stage area which we used for seating for the bridal party and the DJ, as well as the balcony area for seating. One of my favorite parts was the perfect get away / leaving reception area in the rear of the building. It is set up perfectly for guests to send off the happy couple and makes for absolutely beautiful moments captured by pictures or video. Lastly, I can’t say enough good things about the owner operators, Jim and Christy. They really go with you through the journey of finding the best way to set up all of the aspects for your special day - whether it a wedding, reception, or something special occasion. They not only let you know of what has worked well for other events at the venue but are open to trying new set ups and such (of course within reason - no hanging from the ceilings or anything like that!!) I would recommend 10/10.
