The Oaks at High Hill is conveniently located between Houston, Austin and San Antonio, in the beautiful hill country of Schulenburg, Texas. Situated on twenty acres, along a natural, spring-fed creek, over-looking majestic live oak trees; the natural beauty of the countryside provides a picturesque setting for your perfect day. At The Oaks at High Hill, we aim to make your event the talk of the town. Wow your guests in style as they take to the dancefloor beneath elegant vaulted ceilings and lavish crystal chandeliers. Amazing!
Everything was amazing! It was perfect to have a few days to relax, decorate, enjoy patio night, and celebrate our wedding. Staff was super accommodating. We had a rainy day and they completely transformed inside to be perfect! So many of my guests were shocked by the transformation. Since it was so rainy, towels were being used like crazy. Staff was going out of their way to collect and clean our towels almost everyday. Everyone was super easy to contact as well. I had the owners personal number and each cabin is provided with a service phone number that all staff has access to.
A photographer's DREAM Barn Wedding Venue
From a wedding photographer's perspective, the Oaks at High Hill is the Texas countryside wedding venue that photographers dream of. Beautiful barn venue space, guests cottages that full your guests with warmth and love, and that Texas farmland setting that we get to use as our background! The giant oak trees help us give our couples the dreamiest light that will fill you with so much warmth each and every time you open your wedding album. To cap it off, the sunsets!! So vibrant, so colorful. The staff are so inviting and caring. They even have patio nights every Thursday evening just to give back to their community. For us, anytime a couple tells us they are getting married at The Oaks at High Hill, we both get giddy like children on Christmas. The people at The Oaks are the best around. I’ve done a lot Of weddings at this venue since the day they opened and they have been a true pleasure to work with. The venue is easy to unload at, always lets me get in when I need to and if I forget a ladder or a tool, they always have what I need. Also they are very friendly and easy to work with.
Best Venue in Texas!!
We had the most incredible experience here for our daughter’s wedding!! I couldn’t possibly recommend this venue enough! Rob & his team are wonderful to work with, always aiming for perfection & customer satisfaction. Their main goal is to make sure you have the most amazing experience ever for the most important day of your bride’s life! I will be eternally grateful for finding this little diamond in Central Texas! We’d choose them again & again!!
