Monte Bello's enchanting 55 acre estate is the perfect backdrop for your unforgettable ceremony and wedding reception. Our extraordinary venue features breathtaking grounds with unlimited backdrops for the most memorable pictures. All our weddings and events are allowed exclusive use of the estate grounds, mansion, and custom tent during your event time. We have an elegant Bridal Suite, a place to display your wedding dress. We also have the perfect Grooms Suite that is a man cave like no other with a poker table, craps table, foosball table, pool table, and guitar and sports memorabilia.

The Monte Bello Estate offers three distinctive food and beverage packages to choose that encompass all the food and beverage you need for the day starting at $121 to $171 per person. On site ceremony prices starting at $2,900. Rental fees starting at $6,500 and includes the use of Monte Bello’s five-foot square tables, chiavari chairs, and separate bridal and groom’s suites. Each event is staffed with a venue coordinator.

Overall excellent experience!
My husband and I got married at the Monte Bello Estate in June of 2024 and we have only good things to say! The staff was kind, professional, and accommodating. They do not require that you work with a certain list of vendors, other than your cake and desserts, which we appreciated. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and the house itself is lovely and made the perfect background for our day. The bridal suite was spacious and beautiful! Lots of light and plenty of room for all of my bridal party members to get ready. The basement where the groom and his groomsmen stay was also spacious with fun decor and activities. When it wouldn't stop raining at the time of our ceremony, both the Monte Bello employees and our florists worked quickly to bring our vision to life inside. Their reception hall turned into our beautiful altar with just enough room for all 170 of us. It still looked intentional and how we envisioned it. With Chicago's unpredictable weather, we were very grateful for the bad-weather option. The food was excellent! The appetizers and main course options were a hit- we recommend doing your best to enjoy as much as you can before you get pulled away for more photos. We opted for the dessert table option, and the required sweets vendor, Beauty and the Baker, was excellent as well! Our cake was beautiful and the sweets were incredible. We truly have nothing bad to share about our day. Nothing that was in anyone's control, anyway! Even with poor weather, it was the day we envisioned at Monte Bello.
Best Night Ever!
The Monte Bello team helped to create the best night of our lives! They were extremely helpful and provided us with quick and easy answers to all of our questions throughout the planning process. Planning our wedding could not have been easier thanks to Abbey and Lauren. Once our day wedding day finally arrived, I was amazed to see just how perfectly everything was executed. We were blown away by the entire experience and we're thankful we chose Monte Bello as our venue. I never believed people when they said "Our wedding was the best night of our lives", but thanks to Monte Bello, I now agree, it was the best night ever!
Incredible Wedding Venue
The Monte Bello Estate is truly the most incredible wedding venue! We had the most luxurious, beautiful and magical wedding experience, and we could not be happier about the entire day. We worked with Lauren, who was kind, amazing, attentive, and incredibly professional. She is an absolute dream to work with, and made our planning experience and wedding day perfect. From the tour, tasting, and the day itself, Lauren was so incredible to work with and made everything a seamless and easy experience. The staff at the MB was so accommodating throughout our entire wedding experience and was more than happy to help with anything we needed/wanted. The service throughout our wedding was also incredible, dinner food was excellent. We are so grateful for everything, and could not be happier with how beautiful our day was. Truly an unforgettable venue !!
Our Dream Wedding!
We want to start off by saying that The Monte Bello Estate was the first, and ONLY, venue we visited when selecting a wedding venue. As soon as we pulled up we knew we were someplace special. This venue somehow combines rolling green hills, beautiful trees, and a beautiful estate and as soon as you pull up you will quickly understand how stunning The Monte Bello is. We met with Lauren for our tour/meeting and she made our decision even easier! Lauren is incredibly nice, informative, and helpful, and she remained that way throughout our entire wedding planning process. She really is the best and we made sure to tell the owner of The Monte Bello the same thing towards the end of our wedding when he popped in to see how everything was going. Beyond the amazing grounds and staff, the estate itself is absolutely gorgeous. They had made some renovations to the estate, reception area, and bathrooms prior to our wedding and all the updates they made were a 10/10. We had our ceremony in the “forest” location, which was amazing, with a champagne/water station for guests to grab a drink on their way to get seated. The reception was inside and all of our 200 guests fit perfectly (shoutout Lauren for being so helpful with arranging the tables and making the most of the space!). We have received so many compliments on the food and drinks, whether it was the hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinners, desserts, or our wedding cake, everything was outstanding. We really can’t recommend The Monte Bello Estate enough. It is such a beautiful venue, there’s no way you would ever regret having your wedding here. The amount of compliments we’ve received since the wedding are countless and we are so happy we had our wedding here.
