Our stunning 1890s Victorian mansion makes the perfect backdrop for any elegant affair. From a hand-carved wood grand staircase in the foyer to the alluring ceiling murals, our 16,000 square foot home offers delicate details inside and out. Our wrought-iron fence surrounding the property and iconic front doors are wedding photo must-haves. Complete with antique furnishings, the Indianapolis Propylaeum is perfect for couples looking for a timeless, elegant estate just minutes from downtown Indy. Our venue has varied spaces for ceremonies & receptions to accommodate everything from a small elopement to a 120-person gathering. The front parlors of the mansion are perfect for small ceremonies, while the carriage house can hold larger indoor weddings & a dance floor. Our elevated porch overlooks an expansive lawn, ideal for outdoor soirees with room for tented parties. With flexible access, couples can customize each element of their wedding, allowing each wedding to be unlike the last.

Northeast Room

The daughter of the second family to live in this home, Alice Schaf, greeted her wedding guests in this formal reception room back in the early 1900s.

The Northeast Room is the perfect room for small wedding ceremonies, holding up 40 seated guests. For our larger weddings, this room is the perfect location to set-up a bar during the reception.

Our Carriage House is the perfect location for a wedding ceremony & dance floor!

This space is 1300 square feet and is the most common location for wedding ceremonies and dance floors at our venue. Ceremonies in the Carriage House can hold up to 120 guests.

Club Room

The Club Room is the largest room in the mansion, most often hosting wedding receptions.

This space is the largest room in the house and is most commonly used for wedding receptions. It is able to seat up to 90 guests for a meal.
