The Gatewood is a beautiful, historic wedding venue based in La Grange, KY. Located less than a thirty minute drive from Louisville, The Gatewood provides a laid-back yet sophisticated setting while still being close enough to all conveniences of the city. Built in 1908, this Kentucky wedding venue has been beautifully restored and has since hosted hundreds of events. You and your partner can become a part of the building’s history when you choose to hold your wedding at The Gatewood. Inside, there are several unique spaces across multiple floors for your ceremony and reception, as well as other pre-wedding celebrations, such as showers and rehearsal dinner. The exposed brick and wooden floors featured throughout combine to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for your festivities, while the glittering chandeliers add a touch of elegance.

    The Gatewood is the most stunning venue I've ever been to! We had our wedding ceremony and reception there, and it was absolutely perfect! The building is so unique and gorgeous! Matt was so nice when we toured and kept in contact throughout the upcoming months to our wedding. Claudia is just amazing! She helped us plan the day and guided us during our rehearsal. She was there on our big day and kept everything running smoothly, plus our son just loved her! She really went above and beyond to make our day special and we are forever thankful. Plus our bartender was awesome too! If you are looking for a beautiful venue in a cute small town, book the Gatewood
