About this venue

You’ll fall in love with the atmosphere at The Ballroom at Carey Lake. Surrounded by 200 acres and overlooking a 15-acre lake, our property will be the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony and photos. Likewise, our newly renovated building is the picture of elegance to host a reception for your guests. We have 14,000 square feet of space, making us one of the largest event venues in the Greater Rochester area.

Our Ballrooms

Our ballrooms can be tailored to fit your special event. When you book with us, you get to choose which room suits your guest list best. We work with you to set the space the way you choose. We have plenty of space for DJ and photo booths right in the ballrooms. With our new flooring, you will never have to worry about not having enough dance floor space! Each ballroom has its own bar for the convenience of your guests as well as access to the outdoor porch and courtyard overlooking the lake. If your party is really large, rest assured we can comfortably seat 550 guests in our Grand Ballroom. If that is too much space for your smaller event, we can divide the ballroom with a beautiful light wall. The South Ballroom holds 300 guests, and the North Ballroom holds 250. The South ballroom also has a full stage and baby grand piano.

    Gorgeous venue, amazing service, delicious food!! I would recommend anyone to get married there! Jody is so easy to work with and knows her stuff! Decorations can be included (if you like them!) There is a beautiful bridal suite to get ready in! The gazebo and lake in the background are made for perfect pictures!! We love it here!!

    Our wedding reception was at the Ballroom at Carey Lake and it was what I dreamed. Jody does her best and goes out of her way to make your day perfect. She is there to listen when you need her and to help when you’re stuck! She is so organized, trustworthy, and professional. The Ballroom is so beautiful and spacious to host and enjoy your special day with your family and friends. Absolutely would recommend this place over and over again!
