About this venue

The 1882 Reserve is a countryside barn venue located in northwest Ohio. The rustic charm is enhanced with wooden beams, high ceilings, and open spaces. It has ample natural light streaming through windows and open doors, with the added charm of Edison Bulb string lighting both inside and outside spaces. It’s the cozy atmosphere that feels perfect for weddings, parties, or events. The exterior includes picturesque surroundings of countryside views. A private Bridal Ready Room located in a grain bin offers a unique and charming setting for the bridal party to get ready. The interior is designed with a touch of rustic chic, featuring comfortable seating, full-length mirrors, and private bathroom, with ample space for dressing and pre-wedding preparations. The grain bin's circular shape creates an intimate atmosphere. Despite its unconventional location, the Bridal Ready Room in the grain bin ensures privacy and tranquility for the bride and her attendants as they prepare for the big day.

The 1882 Reserve Barn

Wide open spaces. Country feel

A five-bent barn from the 1800s stands proudly amidst rolling fields, its weathered wooden exterior telling tales of bygone eras. Each bent, or section, of the barn is supported by stout wooden posts, connected by hand-hewn beams that stretch skyward. Sunlight filters through the cracks in the siding, casting warm, dappled patterns on the well-worn floors. Despite its age, the barn remains a sturdy and steadfast symbol of rural life in days gone by.

Bridal Ready Room

Grain bin turned into rustic-chic bridal ready room.

The bride and her bridal party can prepare for the wedding ceremony in comfort as this room is temperature controlled. Featuring comfortable seating, ample mirrors, and good lighting for hair and makeup styling. This is an additional add on giving the bride and her party early access to the Bridal Ready Room.

    The 1882 Reserve was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. If you’re looking for a rustic barn venue look no further. From the layout of the barn and property, bar setup, and the grain bin bathrooms this place is amazing. Barb and Tim were so helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend The 1882 Reserve!

    We got married June 2, Barb and Tim were very accommodating and helpful in making our day special. Very friendly and easy to work with, great on communication and very prompt. The venue is very beautiful requiring minimal decoration. Lots of compliments from our guests on the location, beauty and how we found them. Several options for an outdoor ceremony. 100% absolutely recommend!
