About this venue

Snowhill Farm is a beautiful and tranquil wedding venue in Lake Placid, NY, set amidst 280 acres of breathtaking meadows and mountains. The venue embodies the essence of the Adirondacks without the typical twigs and plaid. The primary event space at Snowhill Farm is highly versatile, accommodating up to 170 guests indoors, including 14 overnight guests. For larger gatherings, we can set up a tent or enjoy an al fresco celebration on the expansive 15 acres of manicured lawns. The sweeping landscapes and rolling hills at Snowhill Farm are the ideal backdrop for your newlywed photographs with your partner and your closest friends and family. Fun facts - Built in 1961, the home was Herbert Kieckhefer's summer party house; Kieckhefer invented the modern milk carton. Peacock Mountain, named for the family who walked from Canada in the 1800s and built a nearby farmhouse, lies directly south.

This is a fantastic space. it is a barn inside the property. Great for the ceremony and the afterparty with an 80" TV, fireplace, and comfy furniture.

This is the central room to the property. Directly adjoining is the Den to the right and the dining room to the left. In front, and accessible from double doors in the Living room is a 400 sq ft patio with a firepit and Adirondack chairs overlooking Peacock Mountain.
