Sleepy Creek Vineyards is a vineyard, winery, performance venue, wedding venue, event venue, and vacation getaway located in East Central Illinois. With friendly staff and approachable wines made from estate grapes and other Midwestern vineyards, a visit to Sleepy Creek is like visiting old friends.

The outside Hitch’n Shack
The outside Hitch’n Shack where our outdoor ceremonies take place is nestled beside the natural backdrop of our vineyard for a picture-perfect outdoor ceremony. You can choose between an indoor or outdoor ceremony that overlooks the vineyard or inside the reception venue or as a backup plan during those months with inclement weather.
The “Dragonfly”
Romeo and Juliet. Wine and Weddings. Some pairings just make sense! Sleepy Creek Vineyards provides you and your guests an escape from ordinary. Our event venue which we decided to name the “Dragonfly” has a seating capacity of approximately up to 250 guests. The Dragonfly features a 5,000 square foot main hall, with another 1,200 square feet of bathrooms, and kitchen. It is decorated with vintage chandeliers & décor giving it its rustic shabby romantic charm. Not your average landscape, our grounds boasts 10 acres of vineyards, a tree-lined pond, and horse barn perfect for photo backdrops.

Planning an event in the dead of Winter? No worries, the Dragonfly features state-of-the-art in floor heat that provides a warm atmosphere that is comfy and cozy at the same time. The Dragonfly also has A/C if your event occurs during the dog-days of Summer. The Dragonfly is ready to host Parties of all kinds, Corporate Events, Weddings, Reunions, Fundraisers, and much more!
