About this venue

The Hall, located on beautiful Madrona Point in Eastsound, has been a natural community gathering place since it was built in 1891. The Hall is host to a variety of classes, dances, wedding receptions, art fairs, fundraisers, birthday parties and community events. Rentals include use of our extensive collection of chairs and tables, as well as our LCD projector and sound system. Situated among Madrona trees, evergreens and wildflowers on beautiful Madrona Point in Eastsound, the heart of Orcas Island, the Hall has hosted many memorable weddings and gala celebrations over the years.

The Hall

Magic in the heart of Orcas Island!

The hall includes a waterfront deck and patio with a great view, high ceilings, maple floors, commercial kitchen with great rental rates! The Hall is a charming and beautiful location for your special occasion. French doors open onto a waterfront deck overlooking the beautiful sound and village, and the view is to the west, so sunset skies can be spectacular.

    What a magnificent gem of a venue. Breathtaking views, super nice and easy to work with coordinator. What a great value to have the chairs, tables, and sound system included and options for the kitchen! The atmosphere with the wood floors, light options on the ceiling and back wall really made for a beautiful ambience. We feel blessed to have found this place!

    I've hosted two all day workshops at Oddfellow's Hall, and I will definitely use the space again. It's stunning, historic, right in town, and right over the water. Folks on Orcas tend to be low stress and easy to work with, and the Oddfellows Hall crew is no exception. It's a large space with an easy to plug into sound system and versatile lighting. There's ample street parking, and it's a 1-2 minute walk from the heart of Eastsound. There's a little used public dock and beach a 30 second walk down the road. There's also a commercial kitchen downstairs you can rent and use. I've had only wonderful experiences with this venue, as a two time renter and as a guest at many events!

    We used Odd Fellows for our wedding venue. It was easy to work with the crew and in a wonderful location. Everything went smoothly and we were very happy with the choice! Growing up in the San Juans, we desired to get married close to the water. Odd Fellows offers waterfront views while also being affordable. The event space itself is spacious and includes a speaker system with easy hookups and microphone options. Would absolutely recommend for any purpose.

    Odd Fellows was a total dream for our wedding reception: the team was responsive, thoughtful, and caring (and filled with recommendations for local vendors); the space comes with magical lighting fixtures with the perfect touch of whimsy; plenty of room for dancing and catering and a full band on the clever corner stage; a stunning view of the water surrounding Indian Island amidst the Madrona trees. Most of our guests all stayed a few blocks away right in town and could walk home within 10 minutes. Because we used all local vendors, and everyone knows and loves Odd Fellows, coordination was a breeze. Our whole experience felt like a family operation because, here, community is clearly the premium value. We highly recommend Odd Fellows for a wedding, wedding reception, or any event meant to be filled with love--the space both holds and amplifies it!
