About this venue
Weddings are a long and cherished tradition at the Merion Tribute House. Bridal couples have walked through these arches to greet their guests and celebrate with friends and family since 1924. The balcony is a favorite place for brides to toss their bouquets and for couples to pose for pictures. This castle-like venue is perfect for the fairy-tale wedding of your dreams!
Our event spaces
Outdoor Grounds and Terrace
Outdoor ceremonies can be accommodated anywhere on our eight-acre estate, typically on the front lawn where guests can admire the bride's entrance and processional from our Great Doors. We provide and set up white chairs for outdoor ceremonies. If you choose to have your ceremony here, we grant an extra half hour of rental time and you may schedule a rehearsal here in advance.
Ballroom
Oak doors open to reveal a ballroom set for your guests, a band or DJ and a dance floor - all together in one room. Indoor ceremonies can be held in the ballroom (for guest counts over 100).
Legion Room
The Tribute House has an open floor plan that allows people to mingle while retaining the intimate atmosphere of a private home. Guests assemble for cocktails in three front rooms (the Legion Room, Lounge, and Memorial Hall), which connect to our spacious flagstone terrace. Indoor ceremonies can be held for the more intimate (for under 100).

Fees listed are for venue rental for a five-hour time period, and includes tables, gold Chiavari ballroom chairs, white outdoor chairs, party supervisor, coatroom attendant, parking facilities, use of both fireplaces in season and set-up/clean-up time for the caterer/vendors. Additional wedding ceremony fee for half-hour ceremony, set-up of ceremony chairs and one-hour of rehearsal time. Beautiful Wedding Venue
The Merion Tribute House was such a wonderful venue for our wedding reception. From when we scheduled our initial viewing to our final drop off for last minute decor, the staff at Merion Tribute House communicated well and were a joy to work with. It was an amazing backdrop for our bridal party photos and the dining room was the perfect size for our 100 person reception. The dance floor was the perfect size and we made great use of it. The meaning behind the Tribute House is very close to our hearts and it is a beautiful venue! We highly recommend the Merion Tribute House!
Merion Tribute House
We loved having our wedding at Merion Tribute House! Their venue provided the perfect backdrop for our big day. Communication with their staff was quick and easy - they responded to emails promptly and made planning low maintenance. The venue itself is a beautiful castle like setting that made for gorgeous photos. The grounds were very well kept and perfect for our outdoor ceremony. One thing we appreciated was their BYOB policy, which helped control costs. They provide a list of preferred caterers and officiants that made booking easy. Overall, Merion Tribute House offers a beautiful setting at a reasonable price - would highly recommend them for your wedding or special event!
Colette and Tribute House
Colette was great, the location was beautiful (and thankfully we had a period where we missed the rain during the ceremony). The woman who ended up helping the day of, however, she was very helpful, but did end up changing how things would go the day of, causing a conflict between her and the grooms brother. However, I am still going to give them 5 stars because everything else was great.
