This premium location brings the breathtaking beauty of SoCal to every event with a spacious, alfresco rooftop, complete with yacht-style decking, an expansive and chic built-in bar, a sleek veranda with a bamboo accented ceiling, and extensive views of La Jolla Cove that are one of a kind. Situated at the top of the La Jolla Cove Hotel & Suites, partygoers have exclusive access to the entirety of the hotel's sixth-floor rooftop. Additional cozy lounge furniture and firepits create an inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy the beauty of the coast all throughout the night.

Wedgewood La Jolla Cove Rooftop
From the moment we walked into La Jolla Cove Rooftop by Wedgewood Weddings, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our special day. The coordinators were incredibly organized, friendly, open, and honest throughout the entire planning process. They went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was nothing short of stunning - this location has the most breathtaking views, the venue itself is a large space so it feels roomy, and everything is newly renovated. Despite some unexpected challenges, such as navigating the bakery vendor closing down their doors one week before our wedding, the coordinators handled everything with such professionalism and care. They even covered the cost of our final cake, which was both beautiful and delicious—a testament to their dedication to their clients. The team curated beautiful design elements throughout the night and even surprised us with a framed photo of us during the ceremony placed at our sweetheart table. We are so grateful to Wedgewood Weddings for making our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Think twice before booking
Our experience with La Jolla Cove Rooftop by Wedgewood Weddings was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. From the start, their communication style was disorganized, inconclusive, and combative. Wedding planning is already stressful enough. You should not have to fight your venue so hard for every single thing. The quality of their work and value was severely lacking - the space felt old, dirty, and generic, more like a picnic or BBQ venue than a polished wedding site. They truly don't care about the details, or about how the wedding you're spending thousands on turns out. We had to fight them on everything and customize nearly all of their "included" items because they were of such poor quality. In the end, we would not have been able to pull this off without hiring a fantastic planner, Bryce Gaston Events. Their day of coordinator was assigned less than 10 days out, and we only got to try our food by going to another venue since they would not accomodate the food tasting sicne we missed their grand event with all the vendors. The food was also horrible and oversalted. The salmon was super dry. Reallllly bad but thankfully we overcompensated with everything else to drown out the Wedgewood, that the poor Wedgewood quality was less noticable. Their vendors were horrible from florist to DJ. I will say Cute Cakes showed up for us and did a great job. I would not recommend this venue to any couple looking to have a special, memorable wedding day. However, this is a great venue for a BBQ/picnic style wedding if you don't care about the details.
