About this venue
L’Auberge Chez François has been voted Most Romantic Restaurant by Washingtonian magazine and Open Table subscribers year after year. Let us make your wedding day a cherished celebration. L’Auberge Chez François is perfect for weddings and gala events with its picturesque country setting and garden terraces. Our attention to detail, superior food and beverage, and personal service promise an experience to be remembered. We are happy to accommodate groups from 10 to 100 within the restaurant or throughout our six-acre property. We’re happy to customize your special day indoors in The Mural, Rooster, or Gardens Rooms or outdoors under La Grande Tente. Jacques’ Brasserie is also available for exclusive events with up to 40 guests.

La Grande Tente is a gorgeous, covered outdoor space for hosting events amongst the beautiful flowers and lush gardens of L'Auberge Chez Francois.
In-season, La Grande Tente is a beautiful 40x50 special event tent covering a natural flagstone patio opening onto our gorgeous six-acre property and bountiful gardens. This outdoor space features two gazebos, wrought iron arches, lush foliage, and a small pond.

La Grande Tente features bistro cafe lighting, cooling fans, and sides that close during inclement weather. It can accommodate a maximum of 50 guests with an area for a cocktail reception, 70 guests seated, or 100 guests with rented tables. Use of La Petite Terrace and gazebos is included with La Grande Tente (weather permitting). Access to La Grande Tente and the Terrace is to the left of the main entry doors or through the restaurant just off the Garden Room.

Wonderful venue
L'Auberge Chez Francois and Jacques Brasserie were the perfect venues for our wedding celebration. From our initial conversations, the team was attentive, responsive, and provided detailed information to help us plan our special day. The spaces were elegant, spacious, and intimate, creating the perfect ambiance for our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from, and they were very accommodating of our needs.
