Please email Erica Montgomery for more info. The Indiana State Museum is a spacious and versatile event venue located within the White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. This venue offers stunning architecture, sweeping views, and ample wedding photography opportunities. Our experienced event team is dedicated to working with you before, during and after, to make your dream day come to life. We offer both indoor and outdoor (back up plans included) options for couples to host their wedding celebration! Your day is special, so we only host 1 wedding per night! Couples wishing to wed at the Indiana State Museum can utilize the dedicated event planners on-site to assist with the preparation and execution of their special day. The venue provides get-ready rooms for couples to prepare in comfort and style. Catering and beverage services (through Kahn's Catering) can be arranged, along with setup and cleanup of events held here.

O'Bannon Great Hall
With 100 foot ceilings and the Indiana Obelisk, your guests will be in awe as they walk into your event!
The iconic INDIANA obelisk graces the center of the Great Hall, lending elegance and unmistakable Hoosier presence to your event. With the canal flowing outside and the breathtaking architecture indoors, this is the ideal space for a memorable event. The adjacent Ball Family Terrace is included in rental of the Great Hall and provides guests with spectacular views of the canal, Military Park, and the downtown Indianapolis skyline.

With striking views of downtown Indianapolis, the Rapp Reception Hall’s location in the heart of the museum makes it a beautiful setting for an event. Your guests will enjoy visiting the NiSource Gallery (pending exhibit availability) and peering into the museum’s permanent exhibitions located below.

We offer Ceremony only options from 9am - 3pm. 1 hour for the event and 1 hour for set up is included. 2 rooms get to ready, rehearsal at 4pm (the day before), white chairs and day of coordinator. Packets can be found on our website: IndianaMuseum.org

5:30pm - 12am for the event. Set up starts at 3pm. 2 rooms to get ready, rehearsal at 4pm (the day before), white chairs, & day of coordinator.
