About this venue

A secluded and private 20 room hotel located in the heart of South Austin, built in honor of the patron saint of music and poetry. Each of the five suites, six poolside bungalows, six garden suites, and three studios embodies an equal love for the elegance of old-world luxury and the irreverence of our muses – The Stones, Bill Burroughs, Anne Sexton, Hunter S. Thompson among them. The secluded property and lush grounds are open only to hotel guests, thereby offering a unique sense of privacy situated steps away from the heart of South Austin. Hotel Saint Cecilia offers an intimate and exclusive location for life's most memorable moments. Our property is completely private and only open to Hotel guests. Join us on a Wednesday Vinyl Night where you will find our very own Jesse spinning records from the exclusive Hotel collection, or celebrate your special occasion in the privacy of Suite 4's festoon lit garden.

THE HOTEL SAINT CECILIA offers an inspired backdrop for life’s important memories. Lush private grounds, beautifully appointed interiors and exceptional service set the stage for truly unique events, from a quiet dinner or business meeting to weddings, corporate events and other large gatherings of up to 125 guests. Our talented culinary, lounge and event staff will assist in tailoring the event both to the needs of the host and with the goal to create an elegant and unforgettable experience.

For weekend weddings, a two-day property buyout is required. This grants you private access to the entire estate. The venue can host up to 100 guests with a property buyout. Wedding buyouts are required to have a planner. Weddings with up to 40 guests can reserve Suites 1, 2, 4 & Garden Suites for a more intimate celebration. Suites 1 & 4 offer the perfect location for a ceremony + reception, and getting ready. All weddings are required to have a rain plan, in the case of inclement weather.
