We have no “peak” season, but our hotels in town would consider peak to be summer (memorial day to labor day). Our prices are consistent year round and we actually are busiest in April and September, but tend to hold availability for brides.
No. All alcohol must be provided by approved liquor vendors, per city ordinance.
Yes, we have ample parking. Guests are allowed to leave their cars in our lot on the night of the reception so they can get home safe.
Yes, our entire facility is wheelchair accessible, and we have assisted-listening devices available for ceremonies free of charge.
Setup and teardown of tables and chairs; placement and pulling of linens (you pay rental cost); use of dishes, silverware, and glasses by a licensed caterer; use of sound system and projector; event staff during setup and event; event coordination prior to event.
We require that all renters have personal liability coverage at a minimum of $300,000 per occurrence. Typically, this does not mean taking out a new insurance policy, but rather adding the Theatre as an additional insured location for the rental period. If you have questions or concerns about this, please reach out to us!
We are located 45 miles east of Fargo-Moorhead on US Hwy 10 and about 200 miles northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul. The Jefferson bus makes daily trips through Detroit Lakes en route to Fargo-Moorhead and to the twin cities, and the Amtrak Empire Builder stops at the Detroit Lakes depot once daily in each direction.
