Kitchen Chicago
Lofted ceilings and an open floor plan turn this loft into a warm and inviting space to welcome guests with cocktails or ceremony.
Located on the 1st floor, Kitchen Chicago offers a 3,400 square foot sunlit event space complete with a 400 square foot loft area, bridal suite, cocktail area and elevator access. The two spaces are perfect when used in conjunction with each other with many clients opting to host their ceremony and cocktail reception in Kitchen Chicago and their reception in City View Loft.

3,400 square feet, BYOB friendly, custom made tables with bench style seating to accommodate up to 30, 150 wooden folding chairs, additionals tables to serve as bar, buffet, gift or welcom table, DJ space, three individual dimmable chandeliers and fully customizable hue lighting, elevator access, climate control and ample HVAC, handicap accessible, WiFi, on-site catering kitchen, dual coat closets with hangers, 4 gender neutral bathrooms, wedding suite.
Room cost
All space rentals include 3 hours of set-up time, 6 hours of event time, and 1 hour of tear-down. Any additonal time will be charge $350 per hour.

Dreamiest city venue!!
The most perfect venue for a dreamy city loft vibe with an insanely gorgeous view of the skyline! The transition from the first floor for our ceremony/cocktail hour to the second floor for our reception made it such a fun experience. Working with City View from start to finish was amazing. Shout out to Mary for being such a kind and helpful contact for us. She made sure everything was perfect for us! Thank you for our making our dream day happen!!!
Perfect Venue!
I could not be happier with my experience with City View Loft! We had both our ceremony and reception there in early September and both The Kitchen and The Loft space really fit our vision. The food is way better than other wedding food I've had since it's not your typical basic recipes, and there are so many options to choose from. I felt as though the food on the day of was better than our tasting, which was still exquisite. Even during the tasting, you're able to make any changes (more salt, less sauces, etc.), which we didn't need to for anything but it was nice to have the option. Definitely one of the highlights of the wedding if you're foodies like we are. The venue coordinator Mary was seriously an angel in disguise. She became our coordinator about a month or two before the wedding, and she was so organized and pleasant to work with. On the day of, I had some issues with the day of coordinator I hired, but Mary stepped in and made sure our decorations were set and that we had everything we needed. She was informative about how the day would go, and was very responsive leading up to and throughout the wedding day. Without Mary, it would have been a way more stressful day! All the venue coordinators we worked with were great and I'm confident any of them would have delivered top service, but Mary holds a special place in my heart :) Everyone we interacted with at the venue was incredibly polite and clearly knew what they were doing. In addition to their pricing being very reasonable for everything you get, their organization is top notch, the spaces are stunning without much decoration, and the views truly are immaculate. I highly recommend booking City View Loft for your wedding or any event you're considering having there. You will not be disappointed!
A dream 3
We recently had our wedding at City View Loft & let me just say we fell in love the second we toured it! We also had a winter wedding so the price was also a huge factor! The venue itself it’s already stunning so we had minimal decor, many of our vendors raved about their experience working at CVL and that made us feel confident in our decision! Abbe was our point of communication and she was very welcoming and super down to earth! From the tasting, to the final tour and finally the day of the wedding. She greets you with a huge smile & a hug! The food was through the catering company LM catering and let me just say, if you’re a food lover you can’t go wrong with their menus! Elote, ceviche Hors d’oeuvres & we had mini Chicago style hotdog for late night snack! It’s a gem, and you’d absolutely have a blast working with the team & enjoying your big day here! :)
Amazing
Absolutely the best decision we made while planning our wedding! Lesley was our wedding coordinator and she made us feel comfortable the entire step of the way. She gave us amazing recommendations and made our families feel so valued the entire day with her warmth. The venue is beautiful and clean! The fact that the catering is right downstairs was such a relief. We got so many compliments on the food and how beautiful the view was the entire night. 100% book this venue!
