About this venue

Camp Newaygo is an all girls resident summer camp, which has been around since 1925. During the times we do not have campers on site we specialize in weddings and events in our three gorgeous lodges, which offer rustic charm with all the modern amenities. Groups of all sizes are welcome, from more intimate gatherings to larger ones (up to 280 guests). Not only can you be married in a beautiful location, but you can add fun activities on to your weekend to create lasting memories with your friends and family. Try zip lining or rock wall climbing!


Our event spaces

Lang Lodge

For groups of 50-280 with seating for up to 140, the 16,500-square-foot facility was originally built in 1967 and expanded in 2009. Features wooden floors, a fieldstone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and elevator access to the Ridge Patio; with overnight lodging available in four community-style dormitories that sleep up to 70.

Included in this room:

Rental includes tables and chairs, set up by our staff, a private room for the bride and bridesmaids, lounge for the groomsmen, china and silverware, facility attendant for the duration of your event, catering staff during your meal, wi-fi and tear down after your event.

Peggie Stone Center

For intimate gatherings of 50 or less. Our vintage arts and crafts lodge features an antique fireplace in our Fireside Room and views of Pickerel Lake in the Lakeside Room, with vaulted ceilings and an outdoor deck.

Included in this room:

Rental includes your choice of outdoor ceremony venue, tables and chairs, set up by our staff, china and silverware, facility attendant for the duration of your event, catering staff during your meal, wi-fi and tear down after your event.

Lang Lodge

A space full of grand rustic charm.

This space is made up of three conjoined rooms which seats of a total capacity of 280 guests. The main great room holds a wood burning fire place, the Kresge dining room is great for dance floors and bars and the Frye dining room is great for a lounge area or buffet set up.

Wedding Packages include the three conjoined rooms, tables and chairs, setup, tear down, fire place lounge, restrooms, staffing, parking attendant, event host, rehearsal time and space, and a ceremony location.

$800 per day for events, Wedding Packages start at $6500 for a single day wedding, $7500 for weekend and $9500 for exclusivity

Peggie Stone Center

Stunning Lake Views

This space is made up of two conjoined rooms. One of which holds a wood burning fireplace, the second with a wonderful view of Pickerel Lake. We often see this space used for more intimate weddings as well as a get ready space for couples.

Health and Leadership Lodge

A Modern Upgrade

This lodge is the newest of our three lodges. It holds 11 hotel style rooms for over night accommodations as well as a meeting room which can be rented separately. There is also a deck and patio which overlook a forested wetland that is breath-taking in the fall during color change.

Meeting Room cost is $250 for 4 hours, Wedding Packages also available starting at $1,000. Hotel style accommodations starting at $100 per room

Cabins

Rustic Lodging

We have nine rustic cabins on the grounds of Camp Newaygo, all available for overnight stays. These cabins do not have any outlets, heat or AC, they are rustic. There is but one single overhead light. This is a great option for guests traveling as a large family or group that would like their own space to stay. Guests are responsible to bring their own bedding.

Dorms

A fun way to make your guests feel like kids again.

The Lang Lodge holds 4 dormitories, ranging with 13 beds up to 26 beds in each. Each bed is a bunk style bed and the guest is responsible for bringing their own bedding. The dorms are heated, air conditioned and have outlets as well as doors to patio area.

    I own Sounds "R" us dj and event services and can strongly say that camp newaygo and their staff take great pride in their facility and every aspect of the venue setting. Their catering is top notch. I would highly recommend camp newaygo.
