About this venue

Welcome to BuBs Irish Pub! Located on Main Street in Germantown, Wisconsin, at over 15,000 sq. ft. BuBs might be “the world’s largest Irish pub.” We are a cross between a cozy Irish Pub and a place that can hold over 1,000 friends for any occasion. The building that BuBs is in has its own history and has been “the” meeting place since the 1890’s. Thousands of weddings, anniversaries, reunions, bachelorette parties, showers and other celebrations have been hosted here and we are honored to continue the tradition of hosting these events for you, your friends and your families.

BuBs Main Stage

BuBs Main Stage Bar Area is a flexible party area complete with a private bar and a 24’ X 24’ professional live music stage. It works well for a private party of 50 up to a large gathering of hundreds of people. The space is used for everything from a packed band night to a company party with your own band to a fabulous wedding reception. We are extremely flexible. Run your idea by us and we will try to make your event happen.

Our Irish Festival Hall is a great place for your next celebration. This is a private hall with an Irish flair. The hall has a private bar, a separate entrance, 12′ X 16′ stage, dance floor, 3 – 10′ picture windows, 11′ high ceilings, and a complete sound system / light show. This hall is perfect for parties of 100 – 200 people that need a private area.

Smithwick’s Bar

Our Smithwick’s Bar is a unique party area. The area has its own private bar for your group, 4 professional Diamond Pool Tables, big screens tv, and a sound system that looks like it belongs at Summerfest, not a bar. This area rents for as little as $50 for band nights, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, company outings, corporate events, and many other celebrations. The seating in this area is all “hi-top” seating on bar stools.

Guinness SNUG

Our Guinness SNUG is a quaint semi-private room just a few steps away from our Main Bar. The SNUG features a 55” TV, speakers from our main stereo with volume control, booths and church pews. The room is private for your group. It is used weekly for birthdays, showers, meetings, luncheons, dinners, sports events and many more celebrations.
