About this venue

Front Royal’s Bowling Green Country Club has become one of Northern Virginia’s premier golf destinations. Our semi-private golf facility features two, 18-hole golf courses that are available for public play. Nestled in the northern neck of the Shenandoah Valley, the North and South courses feature a picturesque backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains and landscape dotted by historic 19th century farmhouses. For over 35 years, our courses have matured amidst the beautiful foliage, scenic vistas, and allure of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each course offers a golfer-friendly design with gently rolling terrain, finely manicured conditions, and smooth bent grass putting surfaces. In addition to the golf course, BGCC offers one of the best event facilities in Frederick County. Indoor or outdoor, our banquet facility is a versatile venue that is ideal for weddings, corporate or private events, golf tournaments and so much more.

Bowling Green Country Club has been making dreams come true for over 35 years! We offer a variety of options for any budget, wedding style or theme. Our outdoor wedding arbors offer gorgeous panoramic views of either golf course and majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. If an indoor venue is more your style or if you just need an elegant setting for your reception. We offer a choice of one of our two grand ballrooms, each is equipped with beautiful hardwood floors for dancing, and both are spacious enough to accommodate up to 250 of your closest family and friends. Perhaps you are looking for a more intimate setting? Our Sun Room offers panoramic views and a breathtaking gaze of our water feature on the 9th hole. The room can accommodate up to 80 guests and is perfect for a smaller reception, a baby or bridal shower and don’t count us out for a rehearsal dinner either.

    I've been DJ'ing for over 20-years and have many great memories from my past weddings that I've DJ'ed at Bowling Green. The setting for the Ceremony in both locations, the staff's consistent and quality work, the care they take to make sure the Bride and Groom enjoy their day, and the food make this location an amazing place. Check them out and take a tour if you are looking for a great location to have your Ceremony and Reception.
