Our modern farmhouse offers an exclusive buy-out and a stunning lakefront event venue that seamlessly blends heritage and luxury with the modern amenities today's couples desire. Just one hour from Portland and 2.5 hours from Boston, it's the perfect spot for your special day. We take care of every detail with our comprehensive services, including setup and breakdown, expert wedding venue coordination, comfortable lodging, cozy fire pits, and beautiful ceremony sites. Create the perfect lifetime memory with us, uniquely tailored to your vision. We host elegant barn receptions for up to 150 guests year-round and tented outdoor weddings for up to 250* guests from May through November. Intimate elopements and micro weddings are also available through the winter months.

Our newly renovated barn perfectly blends rustic charm with modern elegance. Featuring 2,200 square feet of indoor space and a 1,200-square-foot outdoor patio overlooking the lake, it's ideal for your dream Maine wedding. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, the barn accommodates events of all sizes. For weddings with more than 150 seated guests, a tent is required for an outdoor reception to ensure everyone enjoys the stunning lakeside setting.

Best wedding with THE BEST venue
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Bear Mountain Inn in September 2024, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms—truly treated like family by the incredible owners and staff. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made our wedding weekend nothing short of magical. One of the things we loved most was being able to turn our wedding into a full weekend experience, allowing us to relax, soak in every moment, and celebrate with our closest family and friends. The inn itself is breathtaking—set against the stunning backdrop of nature, providing the perfect setting for both our ceremony and reception. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, catering to our every need with genuine care and professionalism. And the best part? We got to include our dogs in the festivities! This was so important to us, and Bear Mountain Inn made it so easy and special to have them be a part of our big day. If you are looking for a venue that is beautiful, welcoming, and filled with heart, Bear Mountain Inn is the place. We are forever grateful for the memories we made here and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for the perfect wedding venue. Thank you to the entire Bear Mountain Inn team for making our wedding dreams come true!
Best Weekend Ever
I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else than the Bear Mountain Inn. It is a very magical place and the owners and employees made you feel like apart of the family. Everything is so clean and they make you feel really special the entire time! My close friends and family got to spend 3 full days with us as we celebrated the best weekend of our lives! I highly recommend this venue, 10/10!
Best Wedding Ever
We live out of state and booked Bear Mountain site unseen (we did a FaceTime tour). It was the best decision. When we showed up we were star struck by its beauty of the inn and staff. The wedding was better than anything I could imagine. The staff thought of everything from flowers for the rehearsal to laminating our table numbers. Also the food was 12/10 amazing!!!!!! The staff even went out of their way to make sure we had one of dessert in our room waiting for us after the wedding. I loved how our wedding party and family were all able to stay at the inn and spend the weekend together not just the day. Not to mention the indoor and outdoor spaces for the wedding. The owner was so laid back and involved every step of the way in the planning process. They made great suggestions for other needs like make up and flowered and dj and photos. They even suggested local activities like hikes and breweries.
Best Venue Ever
We had our wedding at Bear Mountain Inn Barn and couldn't have been happier with our choice! Jerica and her team were prompt, personable, and down-to-earth in all of our communications leading up to the big day. They made us feel like old friends helping to plan the event. The venue itself has a wonderful outdoorsy, clean, summer camp vibe that perfectly matched what we envisioned. Jerica was there every step of the way, making sure we felt supported. Jessica and Nick were so involved and helpful, they truly made our wedding everything we imagined and more! Having the whole property to ourselves all weekend with our friends and family was the best decision we made. It allowed everyone to relax and gave a private summer camp feel that set the perfect tone. If you're looking for a venue where you feel taken care of by staff who become like friends, we can't recommend Bear Mountain highly enough!
