Hey there! I’m Malia, the face behind it all. I started Point B in 2022 and officially launched in 2023! Those who knew me in high school know that whenever I was asked what my dream job was, it was “well a wedding planner but I’m going to be a police officer” and here we are 10 years later. I have a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and have loved every minute of that journey but it’s time I also do what fills my soul: wedding planning and event coordination. More specifically, being apart of other peoples best day and being the one they can turn to, to make it everything they’ve dreamt of AND stress-free.

Something that a bride once said to me was "you were our biggest YES girl" and that is exactly what I strive for. I want to make all of your dreams come true, no matter what it takes! We pride ourselves on being there from the minute your day begins until the doors are locked at the end of the night.

    My husband and I would recommend Malia & Point B Events to everyone hosting an event! Her team made our wedding day so perfect by setting up all our decor, handling situations as they popped up, and helping us execute our timeline perfectly! Ben and I got to be fully present and only worry about each other. Our guests couldn’t say enough good things about the Point B team and our family loved getting to enjoy the day without having to help with behind the scene things. We are so thankful for you Malia!     Point B executed on every SINGLE detail for our special day! I felt like I hardly lifted a finger and the Point B team was there for us at every turn throughout the day. If you’re considering wedding coordination services, do it — and book them through Point B!!! You WILL NOT regret.

    Where do I even start? Malia was absolutely everything we could have dreamed of in a day of wedding coordinator. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, she was so attentive, detailed, thought of EVERYTHING (which was great as I am the first one in my family to have a wedding so we were already l pretty much clueless), and she was so invested in making sure our wedding dreams came true. Malia is kind, professional, and such a calming presence. I was definitely nervous on my wedding day, but both her and her assistant took such good care of me and my now husband and made sure everything flowed smoothly. Our wedding was amazing, and we could not have done it without Point B Events. Will be recommending her to everyone I know since I know they will be in good hands with Malia.
