Specializing in weddings, MDP delivers customized, personalized, and stress-free coordination. Our team believes that every event should represent our clients vision and be executed into a flawless celebration! We're so excited to plan your wedding day that everyone will be talking about for years to come!

MDP Events was born in 2020 out of a passion for the industry as well as a drive to bring others joy through events and celebrations! I opened MDP Events in honor of my best friend Margaretta Dundon Potter who shared the same obsession and love for weddings that I do. I want to create the Most Divine Productions in honor of Maggie, but most importantly for each client. I've had the honor to plan countless events and I’ve learned how to make each unique vision come to life, while my clients enjoy the planning journey stress-free!

We worked with Lauren as our day-of coordinator for our March wedding at Selby Gardens. Lauren was so easy to work with, happy to answer any and all questions, and really made the wedding day completely stress free! From going through the timeline of the day making sure I actually got to eat the delicious food, to even helping bustle my dress - Lauren was there for me through it all!

Lauren and her team at MDP Events were absolutely incredible and made all of our wedding day dreams come true. From the start, Lauren worked with us to help us make sure all of our wishes were attainable and helped us work outside the box to create a truly magnificent and unique wedding day. Lauren was always accessible and was able to answer all of our questions with ease, leaving us feeling confident in our decisions. She is an exceptional planner and we would recommend her to any couple who is looking to make their wedding day unforgettable. Lauren and her team at MDP Events truly went above and beyond my expectations for our wedding day. As someone who gets stressed out easily, having Lauren involved with coordination helped me be able to relax and be present throughout the day. On the day of, pretty much every little thing I could have thought of to do, Lauren had already done it. It ended up raining on our wedding day, but Lauren took care of making the changes to our floor plan and schedule and communicating that to our venue and other vendors, without needing us to be directly involved. Overall, such a fantastic experience.

MDP events are truly the dream team. I really do not know what I would have done without them. When I started planning my wedding I truly had no idea where to start. Once I started working with Lauren and Erin it alleviated an insane amount of stress. The constant communication through out the planning process was so helpful. I had a vision for my wedding and truly had no idea how it would all come together, and Lauren assured me that it would be stunning and all come together perfectly, even tho it was all very spring colors for a January wedding. All I can say is it was even better then what I could have imagined. Erin did not stop working every minute of our wedding day to make sure everything was absolutely perfect and kept everything on schedule. I truly could not have asked for a better team that day. I could not recommend MDP events more. Truly couldn't have done it without them.

We only take on one wedding a day, always! We have a wonderful team so sometimes we will take two weddings in a weekend, but with two different lead planners to make sure they can concentrate on their one couple per weekend!

For all Full Service clients, they will work directly with Lauren. Depending on if you are Partial Planning or Event Management, you may work with one of our other incredible planners. Since we travel all over Florida between Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Fort Myers, Clearwater, Boca Grande, and destinations, we want to make sure your day is extra special and we are there just for you!

Yes! We have a large blog full of amazing tips, tricks, recommendations, and advice. These blogs have all of our weddings and styled shoots as well as top recommended venues and inspiration!

We do! Depending on what style of package you are interested in, we can assist with Event Management, Partial Planning where we assist you with the planning process and design, or also Full Service where we manage all the details and design for you. Some of our amazing couples add on different events to create a wedding weekend or also their own bridal shower!

Venue Coordinators are solely responsible for the venue itself (and sometimes food and beverage) whereas Wedding Planners are with you the entire wedding day. A Wedding Planner looks at the big picture and are a constant support system, will organize full wedding day timeline, oversee the research and correspondence with vendors, manage couple’s budgets and style, execute full design packages for rentals, printed materials, and florals. Most Venue Coordinators are not in charge of setting up any personal items, assisting with booking vendors, managing any vendor correspondence, floorplan creation, or timeline management unlike a Planner!
