Planning starts following the initial payment	We start with taking the time to understand what you really want. You may need help with getting in touch with the right vendors, adding some final touches or just some guidance in the right direction. Planning starts when the initial payment is received	You are down to the final months where everything needs to be confirmed and set in stone. Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. Marissa truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and her passion for her work is apparent from start to finish. My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

Marissa and her team were fantastic! Marissa was involved in every step of our planning process, and provided a detailed breakdown for the entire day that was extremely helpful. When we had a hiccup in the day (our Church service went longer than expected) Marissa took initiative, spoke with all involved vendors and adapted the schedule accordingly. I cannot recommend MB events enough. She made our day seamless and easy.

MB Events- what can I say?! Working with this team on the vendor side was nothing short of amazing! Marissa and her entire team were so kind, easy going and an overall joy to work with! As a photographer, I am very used to running the show but while working with Marissa I knew I could let her and her team focus on the details and everything would run smoothly- and man was I correct! I hope to work with Marissa again in the future- she really was nothing short of fabulous.

I had the honor of working with Marissa last year at a wedding where I was the photographer. Her communication prior to the wedding day was fantastic and we worked together to finalize the timeline. On the day of, we had such a symbiotic relationship! We were a TEAM and that's what its all about! Her attention to detail is impeccable. Everything was so beautifully thought out and executed from decor to orchestrating the flow of the day. She was and is by far, my favorite vendor I worked with that season! Whether you're planning a backyard wedding or an elegant wedding on the Cape, Marissa is your girl! She has my HIGHEST recommendation!
