Our experience with Georgia, our wedding planner, started off on a positive note. Our first meeting went well, and we were excited to sign the contract and begin planning. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Communication with Georgia was extremely difficult; days would go by without any response from her, and during meetings, she often forgot everything we had previously discussed, requiring us to constantly remind her of details. She frequently cited family emergencies as reasons for her disorganization, and while we sympathize with anyone facing personal challenges, the frequency of these emergencies raised concerns about her reliability. As our wedding day approached, it became increasingly clear how disorganized Georgia was. Various vendors reached out to us directly, stating they hadn't heard from her. Additionally, when it came to purchasing decorations and other items for our event, she would buy them without providing any estimate of costs, and we were left to reimburse her blindly. One of the most troubling issues was with one of our host hotels. Georgia decided she would be the point of contact, which was confirmed in writing. I asked her to ensure there would be no extra fees associated with the room block, to which she assured us there wouldn't be. Despite this, we were hit with an additional 1,500 in fees due to her lack of understanding of the room block agreement—a fact she admitted in an email. On the day of our wedding, Georgia's behavior was unprofessional and downright rude to our guests and even our pastor, to the extent that she felt the need to apologize to the pastor the following day. At one point during our reception, in the middle of a performance, Georgia decided it was appropriate to sit down and enjoy the entertainment instead of working to ensure everything was running smoothly. This lack of attention to her duties was frustrating, as we had expected her to be managing the event, not spectating. She also chose to confront us multiple times during our reception about reimbursements for items purchased on the day of the wedding and claimed that the venue owner was upset about something. This could have waited until after our wedding, as it disrupted what was supposed to be a special night for us. After the wedding, we discovered the hotel charges, and when we brought this to Georgia's attention, she became defensive, calling us hostile and difficult to work with—despite having previously expressed how much she enjoyed working with us. Frankly, based on our experience, I would not trust Georgia to walk my dog. It’s surprising to learn that we weren’t her first wedding, as she consistently demonstrated a lack of knowledge and professionalism. Overall, we cannot recommend Georgia for wedding planning services. Her disorganization, poor communication, and unprofessionalism caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyous occasion. If you are considering her services, proceed with caution

From the moment I first connected with Georgia Doll Events, I knew we would have a beautiful collaboration. Georgia has the enthusiasm of a confetti cannon and the organizational skills that could rival a perfectly arranged bouquet. Her passion for weddings is infectious, and always makes me even more excited about my part in the couple's big day. Communication is smooth throughout the entire planning process. Georgia truly understands the importance of attention to detail, which makes my job as a stationer an absolute breeze. What really blows me away is her ability to bring a couple's vision to life. She understands the tiniest of details and preferences of the soon-to-be newlyweds. From color palette to theme, she flawlessly incorporates every element into the overall aesthetic, including my stationery creations. Working with Georgia Doll Events is an absolute joy, and I can't recommend her highly enough. If you're searching for someone who will go above and beyond to make your wedding dreams come true, look no further. They will sprinkle your special day with a touch of magic and ensure that every detail, right down to the stationery, is picture-perfect. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I worked a beautiful St. Simons wedding with Georgia, and her and her wife were an absolute joy to work with. Georgia was organized, professional, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She leads her business with inclusivity at the forefront. This is a priority that is high for me as well, and I highly recommend her for any LGBTQ weddings in particular. It can be hard to find inclusive vendors, and Georgia goes above & beyond.

Georgia is by far one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She has a mind for detail as well as big picture and you can see in every interaction her passion for her job and how much she truly cares about making your wedding journey and day feel like magic. She was quick to respond to any inquiry I had and helped me follow-up on any activities I may have been interested in. She was always there with a confirmation on next steps and a great list of options for any question I had. A lot of wedding planning can feel so overwhelming - with so many different categories to think about, and there being innumerous options to us in today's age - she was an absolute angel and saved me an enormous amount of stress, worry, and anxiety. She is the type of person that treats you like family and ensures that you get your day exactly how you imagined it. Georgia and I became quick friends through our wedding journey and I am so thankful she was there to help us every step of the way! 20/10 recommend her to anyone looking to have a stress-free day and someone to support you in every aspect of the journey.
