Hey there friend! My name is Sunny Golden and I'm a wedding photographer based on Oahu, HI! I'm all about getting to know each other and making your photography experience not-so-intimidating! I'm not here to put you into some cookie-cutter, stiff poses. You are WAY too unique for that! I'm about letting you love each other the way you do best and encouraging genuine interaction. My goal is come alongside couples, listen to who they are and what's important to them. So I can then capture their special day in a way that that is meaningful to them. Not just generic and typical. I want this is be the very best for YOU!!!

Connection is one of my biggest priorities. I push for a FaceTime call or meeting of some sort before booking. I want to get to know my people! I want to feel like friends! Getting photographed can feel really vulnerable for a lot of people. So I believe the more we get to know each other and feel comfy together, the better the photography experience will feel for you. The last thing I want to do is be another “vendor” that shows up and takes off, barely trying to connect with you. The more confident you feel the more it will show in your photos. It comes down to me just wanting to deliver my best by serving you and making you feel your best!

    Sunny was recommended to me by my Sister-in-Law after working with her to do maternity photos on Oahu. Sunny was warm and welcoming, she seemed like she really wanted to get to know me and my fiancé. She set up a Zoom call to chat with us and to learn about our love story so she could be sure to capture us in the way(s) in which were important to us. COVID cancelled our original wedding but Sunny was AMAZING. Not only did she work to reschedule with us, but she went above and beyond to let us know that she was there for us through all the stress. She even sent us a small care package to let us know she was thinking of us and cared about us! All of this care before we had even met her face to face!! As a worrier and an over planner Sunny helped me feel calm and confident leading up to the wedding day. Did I mention that Sunny is incredibly talented!?! In addition to her beautiful personality she took the most amazing photos that my husband and I will cherish forever. Neither one of us are used to being in front of the camera and she made us feel so comfortable. She had an awesome vision for our photos and took us to a spot that we had not even thought of. Her creativity is unmatched and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to have Sunny on our wedding team!! <3
