Hey there! I’m a weddings and couples photographer based in Chicago, IL with my partner Emily and my rescue dog Daxter. I’m here to document joy and celebrate all the meaningful moments with the kickass people that find me.

Are you focused less on poses and more on moments? Like capturing your partner's cute-ass belly laugh or the way they look at you on a date night out? ME TOO. I use a candid style - meaning that during photo sessions we have as much fun as possible so you feel as natural as possible. And on your wedding day: I'm there with you every step of the way to document how your day happens organically, focusing entirely on letting you experience your day exactly how you want to. My goal is that when you receive your finished gallery, you'll see a beautiful and totally natural, chronological collection of the day from start to finish.

This is my standard wedding photography package: 6 Hour Starting: $4,000 8 Hour Starting: $4,500 8 Hours + Second Shooter: $5,200 But you don't fit a mold, so your wedding day shouldn't have to either! So if you don't see what you're looking for, my packages can be customized to fit any wedding day and most budgets.

Let's plan a date night and celebrate you two! These sessions can be anything and anywhere that you'd like them to be. You show up and we dance around and belly-laugh the night away while you celebrate your relationship and make some great new memories in front of my camera. I cannot say enough good things about Sam, truly. We hired him shortly after getting engaged and were fortunate enough to have engagement photos and our wedding with him. My husband and I are both creatives and have worked in media so photo was extremely important to us. If you want true to color and documentary style photos then look no further. Not only does he stylistically do a remarkable job but it felt like we were just hanging out with a bestie all day. Let this be your sign to hire Sam. Sam has second shot two weddings with and for me, and both times I was so pleased with his final images, but more importantly his enthusiasm on wedding days and instincts as a photographer! Sam has such a positive energy about him that makes him the perfect person to have by your side on a wedding or elopement day (whether you're a fellow photographer or the people getting married!), and it's evident in his photos that the couples he works with feel that good energy. Whenever I see his work, I always think that the couples look so relaxed and like they're having a genuinely good time in front of his camera, which is such an important part of capturing the unique love between two people on their wedding or elopement day. You'd be lucky to have him!

I had the pleasure of working along side Sam for a wedding back in March. Being the wedding coordinator, I had the responsibility of confirming everything with each vendor. Sam was awesome and so quick at responding. He confirmed everything with me leading up to the wedding day. Sam is beyond professional and was so fantastic at keeping to the wedding day timeline and getting in every shot the brides requested. His photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend hiring Sam for your special day photography. I hope to get to work with him again and will most definitely be recommending him to my future wedding couples.

From start to finish, my wife and I were truly overwhelmed by Sam’s talent, calm demeanor, and overall organization even on a hectic wedding day. We knew during the engagement shoot that we were in the best hands in the city. We, along with our family’s, thrived off of his consistent humor and lightheartedness throughout the day. Sam always made us feel incredibly comfortable and it came across in our photos. We could not picture our wedding day without him there (and even wanted him to stay as a guest). He truly went above and beyond in every aspect, helping out and organizing wherever he was needed!
